Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders in the world, located in Agra, India. It was build by emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal who died in childbirth. Taj Mahal took approximately 20-22 years and 20,000 workers to complete. It was totally complete in 1653, so it is also one of the oldest buildings in the world. It is covered by pure white marble and the walls of the "Taj Mahal" were decorated by expensive diamonds and gems. It is believed that all the precious things such as expensive stones and diamonds were stolen from Taj Mahal by Britishers. When Britishers took the power over India, then Taj Mahal went through some damages and Britishers stole most of the precious stones from its walls.

Indian government and people protected their valuable landmark from different attacks during World War 2 and India-Pakistan wars throughout 20th century. Architects covered the Taj Mahal with bamboos to protect it from airborne bombers.

Taj Mahal is a jewel, shining in the white marble and other precious things. It is still spreading the love in the air, despite having gone through some bad situation. It attracts a large number of tourists from all over the world. People feel positive vibes, peace, and freshness in the air of Taj Mahal. It also welcomes the foreigners to enjoy its purity.

Tourists are allowed to walk from parking lots or catch an electric bus because pollutingtraffic is not allowed near the Taj Mahal. Cars and buses are strictly prohibited from coming within 500 meters of the Taj Mahal. Tourists are not allowed to make loud noises inside it or to throw garbage or litter in it and nearby its building. Tourists have to pay a fine if they throw any garbage or break any kind of rule there. It has a low fee system for Indian citizens and it is expensive for foreigners, which is pretty fair. There are special tickets for full moon and eclipse viewing.

It looks beautiful during the sunset and people even enjoy its shadow in the sparkle water of "Yamuna" river. Taj Mahal takes on different colours at different times of the day. It is pinkish in the morning, milkywhite in the evening, and golden at night.
