student travel
For students studying abroad or racking up miles on a summer break, there are many student-friendly cities that you simply must visit.
What You Should and Shouldn’t Do While Visiting Sydney
Travel has been my life mentor for well over the past seven or eight years. Through exploring unknown lands, meeting new people, experiencing new things and facing an avalanche of challenges. I’m fortunate to see the world through a new set of eyes every now and then. Sydney is one of my favourite destinations on the planet, an incredibly friendly and laid-back city, with residents who admire their harbour and are happy to share it with people from all parts of the world. But this wasn’t the case every time I visited. There are a couple of things you should still avoid to ensure you have a safe staycation, be on the good side of the locals and most importantly, don’t get ripped off.

How I Mastered Juggling Work & Private Life
Truth is, there’s a lot of stuff out there in the world that we take no notice of. I can go days and nights on advising you about work-life balance, but who’s interested in advice? I’m not. Instead we just want to know how to juggle both. Especially in the space of the past two years, this ‘balance’ has seen drastic changes. As a newbie in this culture, I have been able to stay motivated and balanced at the same time despite facing regular hurdles. How? I listened. To whom? Myself.

Hatta tour
Hatta, a pleasant mountain environment, is an inland enclave of Dubai that is approximately 130 kilometers from the city and located on the border with Oman. Hatta is advertised as a tourist attraction for adventure travel and educational tourism, with the reconstruction of Hatta village to give a glimpse of Emirati life. Hatta is a perfect weekend for locals, residents, and visitors who want to climb the Hajar Mountains, hike the scenic trails, or just enjoy the cooler temperatures during the summer.

A Student’s Weekend Bucket List in Brisbane 2022
Brisbane is located in the Australian state of Queensland. It is the capital city of Queensland and the third most populous city in Australia with over 22,80,000 people residing here. Brisbane was founded on June 6, 1824, by free settlers from England. The early history of Brisbane was focused on the penal colony at Moreton Bay. Brisbane developed rapidly as a commercial centre and transportation hub in the late 19th century. Today, it is one of Australia's leading business hubs and is considered one of the most liveable cities in the world.

What Challenges International Students Faces on student visa 500
Australia has been one of the favourite destinations for international students over the last few decades. Each year, about 300000 international students get enrolled at different Australian universities and educational institutes. These numbers quite evidently reflect that Australia is indeed a great location for aspiring learners both within the country and abroad. However, at times, overseas students might feel outnumbered, and can face quite a few challenges while visiting the country on Student Visa Subclass 500.

The Adult Scout
In the eighteen years I have had on this earth, more than half of them have been spent as a scout. To be quite frank I think being a scout is something that I will carry with me for the rest of my life, even if they get sick of me and kick me out. Scouting has been the most exciting, adventurous, supportive, caring and challenging part of my life for the last ten years, and I hope it continues to be for the next ten aswell. Scouts has taken me across the country, taught me skills I never imagined I would learn, given me job oppurtunities, introduced me to the people I now consider to be my best friends and memories that make me smile whenever they visit my brain. However, as is inevitable with age, I have begun to think back to the incredible times I had, and more importantly the people who were propping them up.

Living in Paris at the Height of the Pandemic
With a suitcase full of summer clothes and the intention to stay for just the summer, I arrived to visit my family in the suburbs of Paris. Spoiler alert: I ended up staying over a year and I got to see exactly how the COVID-19 pandemic faired across the ocean, in France.

Patricio's Gift
I met Patricio on a bus descending the sidewinding single-lane dirt road into Creel in Spring 2001. “Is it safe?” I asked in Spanish, gesturing to the burnt out shell of a van in an overgrown gully below. The middle-aged violin craftsman smiled with all the daring of a mischievous five year old tempting fate. He’d known many travelers who visited the Barranca del Cobre – runners, bicyclists, backpackers, college students like me – but his sudden offer to visit his family was entirely sincere. My two friends and I planned to stay at La Posada de Creel, a hostel popular among backpackers, so we made the astoundingly wise decision not to pack sleeping bags. After a glance at my map and grabbing an emergency space blanket, I disembarked with Patricio and waved good-bye to my friends. Ashley and Matt agreed to meet up at the hostel in the morning.
