solo travel
You've got somewhere to go, but no one to go with; solo travel is the nexus of independence and opportunity.
One Day, I Decided to Believe In My Dreams
I've always dreamed of traveling. I have always loved reading and watching movies. I was watching all of these extraordinary landscapes. I had this globe in my room and I turned it every day to know where I would go in my life.

Preparing for My First Solo Travelling Trip
The decision is made, I’m going travelling to southeast Asia and then Australia. A mammoth trip, and solo. Daunting as it may seem, I’m overcome with excitement. But the preparation for travelling is a long process, especially if you want to get it right.

The Lessons Travels Have Taught Me. Top Story - February 2019.
With a new era of millennials taking time to travel while they're young instead of going to school, starting a family or a business is a controversial topic that has sprouted. Being a young girl who has taken four years to explore the world instead of settling down right away, I have heard almost every opinion on this trending lifestyle.

How One Solo Trip Abroad Changed My Outlook on Life
Last summer, I booked flights for a group trip to Tokyo with some of my uni friends. It was the most expensive and exciting trip I'd ever booked, and I couldn't wait to explore Japan with my buds. Except nothing is ever quite that simple with me, is it? I had booked myself as 'Katie' instead of the name on my passport, which is 'Katherine.' Yup. We tried everything we could to fix it and get me to Japan, but that one little mistake was a deal breaker. Devastated is an understatement.

Post University Blues—How It Drove Me to Travel
November, 2017. I had finished university, gained a job with endless progression opportunity, had lots of friends and started dating after gaining new found confidence of which I had lost due to a messy break up. My Solo Trip To Croatia
Last summer, my time at university came to an end. All of a sudden I was an adult. I had responsibilities, real London rent to pay and work to do. It had been an intense few years in the city and I suddenly felt like I had been dropped into the world. For some reason, in a place of such uncertainty and instability, I decided it was the perfect time to run away and go on a solo trip I couldn't afford. I have a dangerous habit of diving into things without a second thought, but this was my biggest dive yet.

Solo Traveler
I’m on a trip to one of the cities with the richest culture, art, and history. Where you literally walk on the streets where legends walked hundreds and thousands years ago, and they were making history. A city where the most aesthetic and chic styles and currents, Renaissance, Barocco... feel the most familiar. Where every building is a piece of art and the entire “metropole” is a huge museum.
