Ghanians Practice The Same White Supremacy & Xenophobia Seen in the United States
In every car I'm a passenger in I have to battle myself and decide if I want my Ghanian friend to be stopped and harassed by the police or immigration. Perhaps I will sit in the back and pretend to be an Uber or Bolt customer. Even when it is a Bolt or Uber ride, they'll stop the driver if they don't see thier phone mounted on the dash.

The Elvetham Hotel, Fleet, Hampshire
Dates of stay - 26th September 2022 to 28th September 2022 What a fabulous building steeped in history dating back to the days of King Alfred and beyond. The surroundings are imbued with romance. This is where Henry VIII is said to have met and instantly fallen in love with Jane Seymour in the 1500's much to the annoyance of Anne Boleyn. And there is a nearby oak tree that Queen Elizabeth I planted nearly five centuries ago when she stayed at Elvetham. She was feted with great celebrations which I suspect may have been some inspiration for the opening chapter in Virginia Woolf's "Orlando".

A Trip to England (Part II)
It is hard for me to accept how naïve I was about life in London, even at the age of fourteen. I unpacked my bags and filled up her front room with my collection of music tapes. This was my first mistake and a sign that I did not know the culture I was in. I was listening to mostly progressive or light rock (Genesis and Supertramp were personal favourites). My mistake was sharing this so publicly. I had a Walkman, but I sometimes insisted on playing these records on her stereo. What I mean by saying this is that I did not understand the culture I was in and that I was out of step with what I thought I knew from those exports I mentioned (most of my recordings were made by British groups and record companies).

St. Augustine Sojourn
Casa de Suenos The first impression of this cozy bed and breakfast is one of a sheltered haven from the hustle and bustle of larger towns, lodgings, and the interstate left far behind. From wherever you may have come, the pastel yellow stucco welcomes you in the warmth that is echoed within by its soft colonial decor.

Alice in Appalachia (Downtown Knoxville, TN, Art District)
Yesterday (9/24/22) my family and I took an adventure in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee. We were romping around market square in the art district. We had bought tickets to a Clued Up Games event, featuring Alice in Wonderland.

Helen, Georgia
As a child, we often camped in the Northeastern part of Georgia. Nestled there in the mountains was a small town with architecture inspired by Bavaria, Germany. I was intrigued by the lake for swimming and boating. One of my favorite waterfalls, Anna Ruby Falls, is a short drive and hike up the road from Helen.

Los Algodones is a city in Mexicali Municipality, Baja California located on the United States-Mexico border. It is south of Andrade, California and west of Yuma, Arizona.

A Plant-Based Road Trip through England and Scotland
“Veganism is not a sacrifice, it’s a joy.” Gary L. Francione The United Kingdom is a perfect travel destination for a vegan. Never on the two-week road trip from London to Edinburgh was there a shortage of plant-based food. I quite literally ate my way through London, Bath, the Cotswolds, Stratford-Upon-Avon, the Lake District, Loch Lomond, Inverness, and Edinburgh.

Through the Eyes of a Virginia Coaster Enthusiast: Dollywood Review
Dollywood is an amusement park located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, in the Smokey Mountain regions of the United States. This park has been on my bucket list since 2013, one of the earliest of my coaster enthusiast years, and almost a decade later, I finally was able to make a trip to this park. I can already say after first impressions, this is perhaps the second most beautiful theme/amusement park I've had the privilege to visit, only behind Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia.
