A Thousand Words, A Million Memories
If a picture is worth a thousand words, it is surely worth a million memories. Memories of places near and far, memories of events simple and profound; memories of items forever treasured, of those tossed aside with the passage of time, and memories of the people who shared the moments that tell the stories that make up a lifetime.

Purple Mountain Majesty
Purple Mountain's majesty made sense when I visited Montana in 2020. It was the year 2020, and things were still very shut down. My family and I decided to go to Glacier National Park, which was open and mainly had outdoor activities. It was indeed one of the most beautiful places on earth. I have always loved the mountains, but this place beat the mountains of Colorado.

Greeter Falls in Altamont, TN
So, thanks to my wonderful father I have been on many hiking adventures but this one was one of my favorites, and why you may ask? Well, I got to mark something off my bucket list here at Greeter Falls in Altamont, TN that I had been dying to do since I was a little girl and watched the Family Featured Film Behind the Waterfall. That's right, I swam behind a waterfall and it was one of the most magical, adrenaline-fueled, exhilarating experiences I had in my life up to that point. You see, it was May when we went on this trip and although it was warm enough to wear shorts and short-sleeved shirts the water was still pretty chilly from the Winter. I didn't care though because I had one thing on my mind as soon as I found out that I could swim behind this waterfall I knew my dream was coming true.

Mellow
I have been incredibly fortunate to travel widely and often. Fortunate as opposed to lucky because this has, of course, been very much by design. While my peers have bought more reliable cars or moved into bigger homes, I continue to choose to travel. I have been to over 50 countries – over 60 if you include territories and administrative regions and the like – and to half of the United States. I have been to cities on 6 of the 7 continents and have walked, paddled, sailed, swum, climbed, glided, skied, ridden, biked and ballooned, before you even bring an engine onto the scene, through landscapes of every earthly variety.
