10 Reasons to Visit France
Aaaaahhh, France. Just say the name aloud and the sound of the accordion will begin to play in the background while visions of the Eiffel Tower, Mona Lisa, and Notre Dame slide across your mind. It is a place that we all dream of visiting, but so many of us never seem to have the time.

Amsterdam
Amsterdam really is an understated gem of Europe. With so much to do all year round, in all weather, there isn’t really a bad time to go. With the sun brings beautiful scenery and long evening strolls but even with the rain, there’s many museums and closed roof boat tours to pass the time. Appealing to a younger crowd with sex shops and legal highs, its beautiful parks and arty culture mean there really is something for everyone. The Ajax Stadium also appeals to those football lovers and with cheap tickets, why not go and see a game or explore the stadium on a tour? The city is clean with outstanding public transport, making it easy to travel around and see this wonderful city whether it be by bus, boat, or tram. It also prides itself on brilliant cycle lanes encouraging both locals and tourists to explore with their bikes, boasting exquisite parks to cycle through and enjoy. The more you wander the more you find here. With sweet cafes, fantastic food, and beautiful canal views make you sure travel out of the main centre to enjoy even more of this outstanding city.

Salamancas' Forgotten Town
I have been told that I have a gypsy soul. This is a phrase and a name that I like. This is because I have an insatiable desire to explore and discover new places. It's hard to imagine ever staying in one place for a long time and not going off to find what lies undiscovered somewhere else. My fiance and I like to explore new places. We like to stumble across places where it appears no human has ever gone before. We also like to come across places where people used to live but for some reason have deserted the area. We found such a place on a recent driving trip through Spain.

Interrailing in... Amsterdam
Passing over the border, our next destination had us on another six hour train journey. The carriage wasn’t quite as busy as Stuttgart to Berlin, and the early journey across Berlin had made me incredibly grateful to sit down in my seat.

Interrailing in... Gent and Bruges
Our next stop on our Interrailing journey across Europe would be perhaps the least touristy of our destinations. This was down mainly to the fact we would be spending a lot of time with our Belgian friends who were familiar with Gent.

Interrailing In... Berlin
My sixth-month placement in Stuttgart may have ended, but I wasn’t about to head directly back to England. Instead, I set off on a two-week trip Interrailing around Europe with my girlfriend. Starting from Stuttgart and travelling north, it was a fairly elongated way home but something which I couldn’t wait for.
