Who Could I Be In Paris?. First Place in Virtual Postcard Challenge.
I first dreamt of Paris at the spritely age of nine. I wish I could say it was because I had experienced something infinitely more poetic than the truth, but to be completely honest, it was after I’d first seen Ratatouille. Yeah, that one. The Pixar movie about the rat who cooks.

The world is your oyster. Top Story - May 2020.
It's an hour before noon in Cancale, on the coast of Brittany; head down to the edge of the sea — the port is called La Houle — in the chilly sunshine and wait, perched on a stone wall. Soon, you see them come into view, the little oyster boats, chugging into shore with their morning's catch.

This Is The Amazing Transformation Of An Important Roman Trackway
Streatham High Road is one of capital major arterial roads. From Roman times, and after their departure, the principal road through Streatham remained a significant trackway. From the 17th century, it was used as the primary coach road to Croydon and East Grinstead, after on to Newhaven and Lewes. In 1780 it became the route of the turnpike road from London to Brighton, and subsequently became the basis for the modern A23.

London, Calling. Top Story - May 2020.
In many ways, I have chosen a rather unconventional approach to describing my “digital dream vacation”. I have replaced the conditional tense with the present, attempting to depict the scene as if it were happening in the here-and-now (which for many of us is in a state of lockdown, hopes of any real vacation currently inconceivable). I intended for this piece to detail an atmospheric experience of sorts, much like a dream itself. I have chosen to obscure the exact names of places in order to leave your imagination free to roam along with me.

london thoughts
London had always understood trains. Understood the quiet pleasure of rushing through the countryside, of disembarking on a platform and being in a different place. Even when the trains sunk underground and the buildings climbed skyward. They understood the patience in it. The ability to stand still and move forward. They understood. They still do.

London Calling
I’ve got to say I loved waking up in London. That city was giving me a great vibe and that was probably the most active and productive time of my life. I had so much fun exploring the city and doing some weekend trips to other parts of England when I was off. It was also the most independent period in my life so far.

London Calling
Anyone who knows me at all knows that I’ve got a little kind of unhealthy obsession with one city. It all started when I was 14 and my only dream was to get out of Poland and travel the world. At that time I couldn’t even dream about travelling to the USA so I kept it more ‘low key’. I hang a huge canvas picturing the Picadilly Cicrus on my wall and kept starring at it for hours to make my parents feel sorry for me and buy my a trip to London.

Nova Paka, Czech Republic
This will be about a small town in a small country. The Czech Republic. The state is not too much prominent. But it is sweet like nature and the cities. Both have something delightful. The countryside is everywhere, and in another part of the country, the scenery is different. Many mountains, many hills, and leas. There are forests with evergreens or with leafy trees. And somewhere are mixed forests.
