Hanabi
Hanabi From July to September during the Summer holidays, the sky of Japan is lit with hundreds and thousands of beautiful fireworks, known locally as "Hanabi" and commonly as ‘Fireworks’. Why [the hell] Did I Move to ATL?
So I recently moved to Atlanta. I would love to say that it’s been mash up of fun and excitement since I’ve been here, but that would be me stretching the truth. Don’t get me wrong, it has been fun, and I have had some exciting moments since I’ve been here, but it ain’t been all roses and sunshine. I’ve had some real fucked up shit happen in the four months I’ve been here, but honestly, I’m not here to talk about that – at least not right now.

The Coliseum in Rome
During our visit to Rome, we were privileged to visit the Coliseum. Just standing inside the Coliseum gave me chills as I envisioned being in the movie Gladiator and actually experiencing the history of that era. I could picture Russell Crowe in the center fighting for his privileges and recalling how he depicted life at this time in history. As we know, Hollywood portrays Roman gladiatorial contests as brutal, unruly duels that usually ended when one of the combatants killed the other. But in reality, gladiators didn't always fight to the death.

Schoolies Alternative Adventure
Life after school; a time to reflect on twelve years of friendships; made and lost, of hard work and unquestionable bouts of procrastination, and what felt like prolonged drudgery in those last remaining months. High school is a truly memorable stepping stone in the paths of our lives; it helps shape who we are.

Cultural Experience
My cultural experience in the Dominican Republic was extremely an amazing trip. The Dominicans way of life differ from ours in many different ways such as, gender roles, economy, relationships, education, dynamics of the family, and much more. Although their culture is different, it doesn’t mean they develop a wrong way to live; however, they were able to seek out a simpler and more benefiting way to support and contribute to their daily needs. Because of these differences, we were able to get the opportunity to visit a country of poverty with so many people looking for a helping hand. These people needed someone to hear their stories, to show compassion and love towards them. As you begin to open up your hearts and minds to deepen your understanding of the Dominican culture, you will be able to also learn about the way they live, their perspective of things, and as well as the history behind the Dominican people
