I Road-tripped Over 4,000 Miles and These Are My Favorite Stops
It’s not often these days that we get to slow down and just live for the moment. My husband and I don’t often take long, planned out vacations for so many reasons, but mainly it has to do with work and money. Our goal for the first part of 2018 was to change that! After much debate and indecisiveness, we decided to drive to Phoenix, Arizona all the way from where we reside in Ormond Beach, Florida.

Visiting San Diego
A couple of weeks ago I spent the weekend in sunny San Diego celebrating my boyfriend's birthday. We've been together for two years so I really wanted to do something special. We're both pretty into the show Rick and Morty which, if you haven't heard of it by now, you're living under a literal rock. Anyways, there's this thing called the Rick Mobile which is a basically a pop-up store for the show that tours the states selling exclusive merchandise, and it was going to be in San Diego, which was the whole point of the trip. But it was just a one-day thing so I had to plan other activities. Now, I'm a big planner. I like knowing where I'm going, what we're doing, and how to get there. But I also really hate being the one making all the decisions because what if things go bad? What if the food sucks or the drinks are too expensive? My boyfriend is pretty low maintenance so I knew he'd be OK with whatever, but, again, I wanted to do something special. So, basically, here's a list of the places we went to, what we did, and what we thought. This way, if you ever visit San Diego, all the hard work will be done, and you'll have some great places to go get drunk at, which, let's be honest, is what we spent the whole day doing. Enjoy!

A Day in the Life of a Van-Dweller
We woke up somewhere in the south of France, surrounded by cork trees in our own little secret spot. An array of wild herbs filled the air with beautiful scents. Scents that awoke my senses as I slowly drifted out of a peaceful sleep. Coupled with the smell of fresh coffee, I couldn't think of anything sweeter. Just us, our little home van, and the wilderness.

First Time Traveling With a Partner
Last Summer I traveled for the first time without parents! This may seem like no big deal right—people travel by themselves all the time. Well I am not in that group of people, not at all. I like to believe I am an independent person, but this trip opened my eyes to how sometimes thinking you have to be independent all the time isn't the best way to do everything. Here I was, 24, a full-grown adult and yet I had never once traveled alone with a partner before. Whenever I have traveled in the past it has always been with parents who decide what and how we did things on our vacation. To say I was excited to do whatever I wanted would be an understatement. I was so excited to go places I never got to go before and yet I was so full of anxiety.

Best Beach Honeymoon Destinations. Top Story - May 2018.
Honestly, once I get married, I'm looking forward to the honeymoon way more than the actual wedding. Weddings are beautiful ceremonies, but can be very stressful to plan, and even more so if you're going the DIY wedding route. But the honeymoon is where you finally get to relax with your new wife or husband and just let the stress wash away in the ocean waves. That is, of course, if you go to the beach for a honeymoon, which you absolutely should. Beach honeymoons are the most popular type, and for good reason. There's literally no greater feeling than sitting in the sun, one hand holding your partners', and the other hand holding your favorite tropical drink. What else could you need in life? There are a lot of beautiful beaches out there though, and it can be hard to rifle through travel websites to find out what you're looking for. So we've got a general list of the best beach honeymoon destinations for you so that you can narrow down your options to the perfect place.

The Autobiography of a Nobody
"When you've got a minute, I'd like to see you in my office." That was Geoff, my manager. He walked off without a backwards glance, and I felt my stomach flutter. I knew whatever he wanted to discuss would be serious, and my mind raced with all the things that I might have done wrong.

Four Days in Rhodes, Greece: What We Saw In Our Struggling Hire Car
What an amazing place—so many beautiful and colorful flowers! But be careful, the ice cream is so delicious you may go over your budget (I recommend the strawberry one). My boyfriend Tom and I spent four days in Rhodes at the beginning of our two-week adventure! We got a nice cheap flight for £84 from Liverpool to Rhodes main airport. Normally the flights are more, but we travelled a bit to John Lennon airport to get the cheaper price.
