Skiing Tenney
The old chairlift was empty as far as the eye could see. Though the weekend temps were comfortably into the 50s under blue skies, no skiers appeared on the slopes below us. We were skiing on a ghost mountain. In March of 2018, Tenney Mountain reopened on a whim eight years after bankruptcy and closure. Now, coming to the end of the month, a few dozen locals were rediscovering Plymouth’s forgotten ski hill.

3 Types of Trips You Might Spot on Your 2018 Travel Feed
2017 was the year for me, along with my doting husband, to stretch our legs and explore the world . We visited an atlas-full of places, witnessed a camera-full of things, and met an address book (OK, Facebook) of great people, but the scholar in me couldn't help but look for budding travel trends in what quickly became our day-to-day lives.

Boon Docking - Phase Two
First week living in the fifth wheel has been a success! The weather out here hasn't been the best. We live in the southwest, so we are caught between the winter cold and the spring monsoons. That hasn't stopped us from enjoying our new life! For those who are just new to this thread of boon docking stories, we live in (and around) Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. It's a great little town in Sierra county. We are famous for our hotsprings, and not only have the Rio Grande river but also Elephant Butte and Caballo lakes! If you're ever looking for a great place to take a vacation, or just looking to get out on the water look us up!

Boon Docking
So recently my boyfriend and I decided to buy a fifth wheel. We had notions of buying a house and just minimizing the amount we go out. Luckily, though, the plan fell through and we started talking about boon docking. We had talked about this before but never really went through with it. We had even gone as far as buying a huge 39’ fifth wheel. We had all kinds of ideas as to what we were going to do to get it ready to live in, and even started some of the work on it. However, we never really got it together and bought a smaller one just to go camping in. It was a great trailer, and we made a lot of memories taking that thing out. One thing that stuck out to us was that when it came time to leave, we were so comfortable out there we just didn’t want to go home.

6 Fun Things to Do in Pittsburgh in Winter. Top Story - February 2018.
Winter's here whether we like it or not, so we might as well make the best of it! Even though summer is definitely the best time to visit Pittsburgh (the sun, the festivals, the baseball games...), winter can be enjoyed if you work at it a little bit. These are some of my favorite things to do in Pittsburgh in the wintertime.

Diving in the Pacific Ocean
“Clear,” shouted the dive master. Head first, I backward spiraled off the small diving boat carefully located at the northern tip of Pelileu Island on the Philippines Ocean. As my body took consciousness of the water around it, I could feel my wetsuit and temperature synchronizing. My eyes were slowly checking the surroundings as I slowly descended into the mouth of the Yellow Wall. The bubbles were forming around my mask as my breathing was testing out the equipment.

Six Reasons Why Mexico's Riviera Maya Should Be Your Next Diving Destination. Top Story - February 2018.
1. Go to a museum... underwater! That's right, the world famous MUSA in Cancun contains over 500 life size permanent sculptures designed and created by British artist Jason deCaires Taylor. This is a truly once in a lifetime experience; I mean, where else can you find a real size VW beetle while ten metres underwater? There are also small houses, replica grenades, groups of people and the always popular 'bankers'; men with briefcases, calculators and their heads in the sand. The museum is made from marine friendly materials designed specifically to attract fish and other sea life to the site.

Mindfulness in the Mountains
When I was younger, I remember there were many instances involving my dad telling me to pay attention to my surroundings. We would be hiking, usually close to home in Salt Lake City, or maybe in Zion National Park, and I’d be running wild; jumping over cracks (to avoid breaking my momma’s back), climbing rocks, looking for animals. Without a doubt I’d probably forget to pay attention and run right into oncoming hikers. My parents would apologize, obviously embarrassed, and then we’d be on our way.
