Czocha Castle
Czocha Castle was built in the 13th century in Lesna. The castle is a combination of Gothic and Renaissance style with towers, defensive walls, and is surrounded by a lovely park and a lake. The castle was featured on the Discovery Channel TV series “Expedition Unknown” season 15 episode “Hitler’s Amerikabomber”. From 2014 to 2019, the castle was used as the setting for a Harry Potter live action role-playing game.
Krzyztopor Castle

Krzyztopor Castle is a historic site located in Poland, specifically in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. This castle was first recorded in 1627 and is located in Ujazd. It was built with 365 windows to represent the number of days in a year, 52 rooms for number of weeks, and 12 ballrooms for number of months. The four towers represent the four seasons of the year. This castle was featured in the 1981 novel “Poland” by James Michener and a famous South Korean K-pop boy group Enhypen filmed their music video for the song “Bite Me” in the castle.
Castle Ksiaz

This castle was built in the 13th century and is located in Wałbrzych, Poland. The Nazis seized Castle Ksiaz during WW II and it was to become the headquarters for Adolf Hitler.

During this time the Nazis built a mysterious tunnel complex beneath the castle. The castle sits atop of a hill surrounded by a beautiful forest. The castle is open to the public and is home to hotel. Every spring the Flower and Arts Festival is held here.
Malbork Castle

Built in the 13th century Malbork Castle is located in the city of Malbork. The castle was built by the Teutonic Knights and used as a military, economic, and religious center for the Great Masters of the Order. Built in the Gothic style it features defensive walls, towers, and a complex of buildings. Malbrok Castle is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Castle Museum has an amber exhibition.
Mozna Castle

Located in the small village of Mozna, this castle was built in the 17th century. It has 265 rooms and 99 turrets. The entire castle complex includes a park with nearby fields, meadows and a forest
Niedzica Castle

Niedzica Castle dates back to the 14th century. The castle is associated with ghost stories and hidden treasure. The museum in Niedzica holds archaeological artifacts related to the castle, remnants of the masonry that once adorned its interiors, prints and engravings with views of the castle from various periods, and historical documentation
One of the first owners of the castle, Sebastian Brezevichy, traveled to Peru in the 1800s, where he married an Inca royal, Umina. After war broke out in Peru, they moved back to the castle and brought their Inca treasure with them. Legends say that Umina was murdered in front of the castle by a treasure hunting thief, and her ghost now appears every night at the castle to protect her gold.
The legend of Niedzica was also the inspiration for a graphic novel, "Rainbow and the Sun" by Roko Zaper, follows Andre Benesz as he discovers his heritage and the past he never knew.
Ogrodzeieniec Castle

Ogrodzeieniec Castle was built in the 14th century in Podzamcze, Poland. It is located along the Trail of the Eagle’s Nest, a marked trail running through southern Poland connecting 25 medieval castle between Czestochowa and Krakow. This castle has been featured in theatrical productions and in the 2019 Netflix series “The Witcher”.
Wawel Royal Castle

This castle was built in the 13th century and is located in Krakow. It became the first UNESCO World Heritage Site in the world. The castle sits on Wawel Hill overlooking the Vistule River. Wawel Royal Castle features a mix of architectural styles, including Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque.

The Silver Bell Tower (originally known as the Wikaryjska or Priest Tower) dates from the early 12th century and is the oldest of the Wawel's many towers.

The castle includes the Polish myth of the Wawel Dragon and on the lower slopes of Wawel Hill is a modern fire-breathing metal statue of this dragon. It is situated in front of Smocza Jama or Dragon’s Den, one of the limestone caves scattered over the hill.
