Spain's Ibiza - A Destination with So Much Fun!

Spain

Spain has recently surpassed the record number of visitors with more than 82.6 million international arrivals by 2018. This represents an increase of .9 percent compared to 2017. Tourism in Spain is well established as a major sector of the economy, and recent data shows a booming industry: tourism accounts for 16 percent of Spain's GDP. In 2016, more than 75 million tourists visited the country.

One travel site that has generated more revenue for Spain and is part of this industry is Ibiza.

This large island in the Mediterranean is not only an attraction, but also a scattered archipelago. I had read about this fun place before embarking on the trip to Ibiza, but on arrival the view far exceeded my expectations.

"Bienvenido (Welcome), " the tour master said, with a smile in Spanish.

I quickly understood what he meant and answered with "Gracias," which means "thank you." He asked if I was ready to have fun. I tried to use the official language of Ibiza- Catalan, but it was rather difficult for me, so I stopped and returned to English.

Ibiza has a regional dialect called Ibicenco or Eivissenc (especially in the City of Ibiza or Eivissa) and it is amazing how it is used.

Ibiza is famous for the lively nightlife in the city and Saint Antoni, where European big night clubs have summer showers.

By coincidence, we visited during the summer and so all of the city's top DJs gathered at different nightclubs and showed outstanding performances. Top music superstars, including Craig Davids and Co. are some of the few singers who have supported the fun at Ibiza. Because of the fun of the nightclub, the number of visitors is twice as high as tourists across Europe and all over the world to Ibiza.

Since the late 1960s, Ibiza has more than 160 km of coastline with around 50 beaches and many restaurants, bars, and water sports facilities associated with the club. The quiet villages nearby and yoga vacations in the city are also additional attractions for visitors. I decided to go to one of the surrounding villages with my assistant and we never arrived. From a distance everyone would think that it was not far from Ibiza, but hey! It is. Finally we decided to use a commercial vehicle and arrived safely. The village itself is enough for every visitor to come to the conclusion that it is beautiful.

Ibiza is the third largest island in the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean, 150 kilometers off the coast of Spain. As one of the most popular nightclubs in Europe, the club season usually starts in May with an international "crazy" music convention. The excitement continues until the end of the Fiesta at the end of September. There are many clubs where you can have fun. Clubs like Amnesia, Space, Pacha, Sankeys, and Privilege are available based on your preferences. I'm sure you can't choose because each one of them is fun packed. In Pacha, my eyes were fixed on a group of gentlemen who were drinking wine in the jazz club and listened with joy to a bass player's solo song. And you can see how full of energy they were.

Most island super clubs congregate at the lively Ibiza resorts of Playa den Bosa and San Antonio. And with the old city of UNESCO, be prepared to be welcomed with an extraordinary culture.

Intriguing Destinations In Ibiza

What makes trips to Ibiza interesting are the nearby cities with extraordinary attractions.

  1. Formentera is an island in Croatia. It is also called the Caribbean Island and is located only 9 kilometers from Ibiza. Many believe that Formentera beach is the best in the world because of its crystal-clear nature.
  2. For me, this is one of the greatest natural beauties that this island has to offer. The Breathtaking Sunset is the name of this island. This is considered one of the best places to watch Mediterranean sunsets on Ibiza. And if you want to rest for a while, just come here.
  3. Es Vedrà is one of the most attractive destinations in Ibiza. It is located off the coast of Cala d'Hort on the west coast and is completely uninhabited and protected as a natural park. Es Vedra is one of the most beautiful landmarks on the Balearic Islands and appears like an offshore volcano from the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. This is associated with many local myths and legends, from sirens to UFOs to the Virgin Mary.
  4. The city of Ibiza, also known as a port city, is the largest and most beautiful tourist destination on the island. It has a fortified wall and cobblestone. Locals call the city Eivissa. This area is full of first-class restaurants, a wide choice of bars and incredible tourist attractions.

There are several other destinations, including sandy beaches and hippie markets, where you get everything you want.

In addition, visitors are served delicious meals, including Spanish, international and even organic dishes of their choice. All you have to do is get your preference and that's it—you are served.

Security

You might have other thoughts while enjoying the topic of safety. You are 100 percent safe in Ibiza because no casualties have ever been reported here. It is safe to travel to Ibiza because modern security systems are installed. Just come, have fun and feel safe!
