Tips on how to plan a Dubai trip

My Unforgettable Family Trip to Dubai from Mumbai
Our family trip to Dubai from Mumbai was a dream come true, filled with adventure, luxury, and unforgettable moments. We had chosen a comprehensive Dubai package from Mumbai that promised to cover all the essentials, and it did not disappoint. Here’s a detailed account of our trip, including what we packed, what we carried, and all the exciting places we visited.
Planning and Packing
Before embarking on our journey, we meticulously planned our packing list to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable trip. Here’s a rundown of what we packed:
Clothing: Dubai’s weather can be quite hot, so we packed light and breathable clothing. For daytime, we brought plenty of summer clothes, including shorts, T-shirts, and sundresses. Since Dubai is a city that blends modernity with tradition, we also included a few outfits suitable for visiting mosques, like long pants and modest tops. Even though Dubai is hot, the air conditioning inside malls and restaurants can be quite chilly, so we packed a few light sweaters.
Footwear: Comfortable walking shoes were a must for exploring the city’s many attractions. We also packed a pair of sandals for the beach and pool days.
Essentials: Besides the usual travel essentials like passports, visas, and boarding passes, we packed a power bank to keep our devices charged while out and about. We also brought a filtered water bottle to stay hydrated, especially in the heat.
Sun Protection: Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat were crucial for protecting ourselves from the strong Dubai sun.
Health and Safety Items: We carried a basic first-aid kit, including medications for common ailments like headaches and stomach issues, just in case.
Day 1: Arrival and Getting Acquainted
Our journey began with a comfortable flight from Mumbai to Dubai, and the Dubai package from Mumbai included airport transfers, making our arrival hassle-free. After checking into our hotel, which was centrally located, we set out to explore the city.
Our first stop was the Burj Khalifa. The towering skyscraper was even more impressive in person. We went up to the observation deck on the 148th floor and enjoyed panoramic views of the city and beyond. The kids were thrilled by the interactive displays and the thrill of standing on glass floors.
In the evening, we visited the Dubai Mall, which is not just a shopping destination but an experience in itself. We explored the Dubai Aquarium, where we marveled at the marine life, including the gigantic sharks and rays.
Day 2: Desert Safari Adventure
The second day of our Dubai adventure was dedicated to the desert safari. Our Dubai package from Mumbai included a thrilling desert safari experience. We were picked up in a 4x4 vehicle and driven into the desert for an adrenaline-pumping dune-bashing session. The kids had a blast sandboarding and riding camels.
The evening was equally exciting with a traditional Bedouin-style dinner under the stars. We enjoyed a range of delicious dishes, watched captivating performances like belly dancing and a fire show, and soaked in the tranquil beauty of the desert.
Day 3: Theme Parks Galore
Dubai is renowned for its impressive theme parks, and our package included tickets to several of them. We spent the day at Dubai Parks and Resorts, which is a combination of Motiongate, Bollywood Parks, and Legoland.
At Legoland, the kids enjoyed interactive rides and attractions, while Motiongate offered movie-themed adventures that thrilled us all. Bollywood Parks was a celebration of Indian cinema with vibrant shows and attractions. In the afternoon, we headed to IMG Worlds of Adventure, an indoor theme park filled with thrilling rides and immersive experiences based on Marvel superheroes and dinosaurs.
Day 4: Cultural Exploration and Relaxation
We decided to explore Dubai’s rich cultural heritage on our fourth day. We visited the Dubai Museum located in the historic Al Fahidi Fort, which provided fascinating insights into Dubai’s past. Wandering through the Al Bastakiya district, we admired the traditional wind-tower architecture and explored charming art galleries.
In the afternoon, we relaxed at Jumeirah Beach. The pristine sands and clear blue waters were perfect for unwinding. The beach offered stunning views of the iconic Burj Al Arab, which made for a great photo backdrop.
Day 5: Shopping and Departure
Our final day in Dubai was reserved for shopping. We visited the Gold Souk and the Spice Souk, where we enjoyed browsing through the dazzling array of jewelry and the aromatic spices.
Before heading to the airport, we enjoyed a farewell lunch at a restaurant with panoramic views of the city. Reflecting on our trip, we felt grateful for the well-organized Dubai package from Mumbai that made our vacation smooth and memorable.
Our trip to Dubai was an incredible experience that we will cherish forever. The city’s blend of modern luxury and rich cultural heritage provided us with a perfect mix of excitement, relaxation, and adventure. With thoughtful packing and the benefits of a comprehensive travel package, our family vacation was truly unforgettable.
