Moll, Witch of the Dragons
There never used to be dragons in the Valley. There never used to be anything much in the Valley, to be fair. Although, I’m not sure that is fair because the Traders used to house their stock there, shivering and sodden creatures, half-frozen and chained to the cliffside of the Valley. The rags the Traders gave them to cover their nudity did nothing to keep the cold out of their bones.

Budget-friendly Ways to Enjoy Sydney
Sydney is a dream destination for many travellers and often finds itself top on the lists of the most expensive cities in the world. While this is undeniably true, you don’t always need to have a fat wallet to enjoy what this glamorous city has to offer. All you need is some insider knowledge and planning. I was fortunate enough to spend a couple of months here in the Emerald City and while the tourist hotspots like Darling Harbour serve some exxy cocktails and events, you can still find plenty of attractions that will let you explore the city on a budget.

Airline Etiquette for Frequent Flyers
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, there were 146 incidents on airlines in 2019. In 2021, there were 1,081 investigations of incidents involving unruly passengers. Obviously, there are problems with passengers who don’t know how to behave in a respectful manner. In an era when mask mandates, TSA checks, and other inconveniences are already causing stress, this lack of good manners just makes the situation worse.

Bears on Beech Mountain, NC
The resort town of Beech Mountain is one of the top tourist destinations within the state of North Carolina. An ideal place for skiers and snowboarders coming for a winter getaway. And a summer destination for those who desire scenic mountain views. But a fun filled family vacation destination all year round. And there's no shortage of real estate for vacation rentals, seasonal and all year round residents. If you need to make a quick grocery run, a new pair of shoes, and a fresh pot of flowers for the house. Head on down to Fred's General Mercantile. Which also supports local artisans. If you desire to go out for some beer and pizza, then head down to the Brick Oven Pizzeria. With an arcade for some after dinner entertainment. And for vacationers, seasonal or full time residents who feel the need to stay fit and healthy. Buckeye Recreation Center is the place to go. Which has a tennis court, playground, and baseball field outside the building.

Believe in the Dragon
There weren’t always dragons in the valley. I am on my way up the hill with my pony, Rhubarb, to see the valley more clearly. I close my eyes. I can smell the sweet spring grass. I hear nothing but the wind in my ears and my eyes tear a little. I feel as light as the wind as I gallop along the trail up the hill to the clearing where we can see the whole valley.

Protection in the Flames
There weren't always dragons in the valley. The air was still, silent of raging fire and the bellowing of leathery wings. One might ache for such a time of serenity. But perhaps without dragons in the valley, something much worse would be lurking in the mountains.

An Amsterdam Adventure - European Exploits
A vacation in Europe is arguably the most sought-after holiday—cultivated in us through books, movies like Eurotrip, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Letters to Juliet, French Kiss, Under the Tuscan Sun, to name a few, and of course the adventurous tales of other travellers. In June 2016, my sister and I were beyond thrilled to go on a month-long Europe trip to some of our favorite destinations—France, the Netherlands, Spain, and the UK (pre-Brexit). And what’s more, this was our first international sister vacay!
