Does A “Guilty Pleasure” Really Make You Feel Guilty?
Who doesn’t have them? A TV show or series we love, even though they are awful. The boring books we simply can’t put down. Sleeping in until 11am. Having that extra slice of cake while watching Netflix. The dreadful songs we hate to love. The professed “guilty pleasures” are only an illusion. I mean, are we really feeling guilty about it? Certainly, I’m not, and deep down neither are you. But a huge part of the world will say otherwise; the term itself is more common than we think. I was having mixed opinions about it so I decided to go out of my way and look more into it - here’s what I figured.

The Love of a Daredevil
I know, I know…who the hell is Dave Munday? In order to answer that question, I will have to go back to my childhood back in the awful, ugly and beautiful 1980s. My family took a trip to Niagara Falls sometime in my early childhood and I marveled at the sight of all that water at that incredible height. I noted the tacky tourist traps everywhere and the endless parade of other tourists who were also trying to remember the moment in their cheap camera poses. I was no better; neither was the family. My one memory of the trip there involves posing for a photo with a cut-out of a barrel and pretending to drop over the Falls with my family (a part of me wonders what happened to that photograph). And I even got a hat there.

Mackinac Island
There must be some type of magic in the water. The place seems surreal to me with its surrounding of water. Only people, bikes, and horses power the island, some mobility scooters and wheelchairs, but no motorized vehicles. Every shop and restaurant owner that we have spoken to seems incredibly friendly, open and genuinely happy to be there. It is super crowded with visitors, but what an astounding place! This is where our daughter chose to spend her sixteenth birthday! August 2022.

Why Partying is Actually Healthy for you!
Who doesn’t like to party? Almost everyone does; though ‘introverts’ who are comfortable in their own space, are more than happy to stay away from the hustle and bustle of parties. I am one of the majority. Celebrations and parties excite me to the core. Don’t you think it spreads a positive vibe when everyone around is having a good time?

Travel Blogs - Best Lunch Cruises in Australia
After the overwhelming response I got for my previous article about the best cruises in Australia I decided I’d make a part two, but this time solely about lunch cruises. The thing about a lunch cruise is that it is the ultimate way to witness some of the finest sights of the place you're in, whether Sydney, Gold Coast or Perth. While the general idea behind such cruises are evident, not all of them are the same. I have backpacked across the Land Down Under many times now and have come across many lunch cruises that took me by surprise. Check them out below.

How To Secure the RV When You Leave Camp
A few months ago, the Missus and I watched a YouTube video of a young couple who lost their RV. Someone stole it from their campsite inside an RV park while they were away. So, whether you go boondocking or have a nice setup at a campground, never take RV security for granted.
