While in Boston
Boston: birthplace of the American Revolution. If you ever visit this beloved city, you will be in awe within a matter of hours! I recently visited Boston and fell in love immediately. Being my first visit, I wasn't sure exactly how to go about seeing some of the most historic sights Boston has to offer. Lucky for me, the clerk at the hotel I stayed at suggested I take the "Olde Towne Trolley Tour". This trolley takes you around the city for about 40 dollars a person and also includes a water boat cruise on the harbor. The trolley makes numerous stops along the way and at each stop you can choose to get off and simply just get back on at any given time. Pretty cool, eh? Out of all the stops the trolley makes, I came up with a top ten of places to visit. Enjoy!

Quest of the Phoenix 2017 (6)
Up at 6 AM again (after an eight-hour rest; hard to believe this is a “vacation” with me going to bed and getting up so early) and spent three hours preparing myself. First, I went and got a nice nutritious continental breakfast with all of the food groups represented (except meat), then I spent some time planning my route to South Mountain Park, grooming, and dressing carefully to hide the fact that I was slightly out of shape — I would be hiking in the rising heat of the late morning, so I couldn’t get away with wearing a jacket or whatnot.

A Rose in Nara
I was breathless. Sitting next to Seini in the back seat of the Nakagawa family car, I saw Japan in a way my friends back home would never experience. We passed homes and businesses, bicyclists and walkers, business men and students. We were leaving Sakurai High School where our host sister Chinami attended. We were on our own, the rest of the group was on their way to their own host family.
