Six Friendliest Cities in the World for Learning the English Language
English is a lingua franca of today, and it is almost a necessity to learn, at least some of it, to be able to communicate with people from around the world. Although standard language lessons can give you a basic understanding of language fundamentals, the best way to master it entirely is by immersion. Visiting cities and countries where English is the primary language will make you step out of your comfort zone, and compel you to start speaking it wherever you go. Any simple task, like going to the grocery store, bar, museum, or asking for directions will allow you to practice your skills. Moreover, you will simultaneously learn about those countries’ culture. How much you’ll absorb is only determined by the effort you are willing to make. So, here are six friendliest cities you should consider visiting if you wish to learn the English language:

A Day Trip to Franklin, Indiana
Really, traveling to Indiana? Are you sure? Isn't it just all corn? Photo by Glenn Carstens-Peters on Unsplash Let’s be honest: Indiana does not sound like the greatest place for a vacation, or really any kind of travel. Pretty much whenever you see a picture of Indiana, it looks something like the photo above.

Visit: Leicester
Leicester is my home city. I suppose it is not really up there with cities to visit for a day trip, or a weekend city break. But it should be, as it is a city rich in history. Full of interesting tourist attractions, parks, restaurants, music scene, shopping centres, museums, theatres. A great nightlife, bars, nightclubs. Of course there is also Leicester Market, where many bargains can be found! A proud city; a beautiful city.

A Heart in Ruin. Top Story - April 2019.
“Walking at random through the streets, we came by chance upon the Cathedral of Notre Dame. I shall long remember my first impression of the scene within. The lofty gothic ceiling arched far above my head,, and through the stained windows the light came, but dimly–it was all still, solemn and religious.”

A year ago, on April 29th, 2018, I realized my dream of going to India. It was the dream of my life. It was my project. I was studying with the ambition of going to India at the end. I was working and saving money with the goal of making my dream come true. Finally, the end of my studies two years ago, and the accumulation of small jobs, made my dream come true much faster than anything I could have planned.

Exploring in & Around Girona, Spain
Girona is a very proudly Catalonian city sitting in the north east of Spain, it's filled with bridges, history, and a rich culture. A somewhat hidden gem in the shadow of Barcelona, which is just a little over an hour away, it's a place which hasn't been commercialised into a Western city like so many others. The cobbled streets are full of character, filled with local shops selling clothes, pottery, food, and much more.
