My Friend from Tanzania
I was so excited today to make it to my destination. I was driving to the city for the third time in 3 days, trying to learn what I was going to do about the weather. We always try to get there on time, so that is why the lines were so long: it was rush hour traffic! We were feeling so sorry because of the loss of my cousin. We had to bring his mother with us, which was funny.

The Importance of Travel
Throughout my childhood, I dreamed of seeing the world. I never knew how much I was going to love it. For years, I begged and pleaded for my parents to take me on a trip out of the country, and in June 2017, I finally got to go to London. I was so excited to go on this trip with my school’s drama club. This trip started my love for traveling. I thought one of the best parts of the trip was actually traveling with a group of people who had the same interests as me and who I could bond with and learn from while abroad. It was such a unique experience.

Paris in Spring: 4 Things You Absolutely Should Do
This March I went to Paris with my boys. I am glad it was a family trip, you see, because romantic voyage to Paris with compulsory kissing at the top of the Tour Eiffel and eating les croissants is so much of a cliché that I wouldn’t even enjoy it. In the western pop culture, Paris is steeped in romance. However, if you exclude the romantic fluff from your agenda, you become able to see what the fuss is all about. Paris is an utterly amazing place—historically, culturally, aesthetically, and in any other way you can imagine. Even though we tried sticking to the beaten track and came to see all the popular tourist sights, our journey was full of discoveries.

How I Went from $1.60 to $4,000 in 48 Hours in a Foreign Country
Fifteen years ago, before social media, I wandered into a small theater in Portland, OR, where they were showing a documentary called What the #$*! Do We (K)now!? It featured Dr. Amit Goswami, a quantum physicist professor from UCLA who had scientifically concluded that we are all connected. He states that if we could let go of our egos, quiet our minds, and open our hearts, then we would have heaven on earth. He concludes that we are all Gods, connected by a hive mind of consciousness, and along with the laws of quantum physics he determines that it is our collective consciousness that creates our reality.

The Great Valley of Elah—The Region of the Battlefield!
I remember what I heard when I was a cute, little boy about the story of David and Goliath. I was so fascinated about the trend of the story, especially when little David overpowered the giant Goliath. The Valley of Elah is exactly where this 3,000 year old show took place. It is widely identified as the place of the battle between David and Goliath. So what is Elah? Elah means terebinth, a Mediterranean tree which is found in this area. Situated here is a small stream right in the center of the Valley.
