How to Get a Letter from Juliet
Before even watching the movie “Letters to Juliet”, I was excited to go to Verona as part of my Mediterranean Trek. So I planned out my visit to this city mainly by borrowing the movie from a friend. The only mistake I made was that I booked a mere two nights in Verona, leaving me with just one full day to experience all that this quaint city has to offer.

5 Things About Huntington, UT
1. The Desolate Landscape When you get to Huntington, you will feel like you are lost on some alien planet. It can be a bit jarring at first. However, over time, you will learn that this is one of the most magical things about this amazing place. The town is set at the base of desert mountains, and the surrounding area has a desert-feel. To be honest, while I had lived in the rural South in the past, I had never been to a place that felt that empty and open. At first, it terrified me a bit. But as I went on walks, meditated on the way the sun hit the mountains, and the wind that blew past me. I felt connected to the land there. And the vastness of the sky at night under the stars makes you feel small…but in a sacred way.

Traveling Abroad with the Coronavirus
I started what was supposed to be an extended European trip in late February 2020. Just a couple days before leaving, I heard that the coronavirus, which previously was only really an issue in China, was now infecting parts of Northern Italy, particularly the two cities I was going to visit: Milan and Venice. Thankfully, I was landing in Munich, where at the time there had only been a few cases that were already treated. I left on my trip, knowing that I would need to keep an eye on the news to see if I needed to rearrange my plans with Italy. But since my time in Northern Italy was a month away, I was hopeful that the coronavirus outbreak would be taken care of by then.

Missed Connections
A stiffly uniformed employee offered a shrug to the harried young woman on the other side of the desk. “I’m sorry, but we only have one flight to Heathrow each day. You missed today’s, so you’ll have to wait until tomorrow for the next one.” The airline counter agent turned her gaze away from Kara and motioned for the next delayed passenger in line to come to her desk.

Travel, Health, and Fitness
Travelling has to be one of the most exciting things I have done. There are endless possibilities; beautiful places to explore, delicious new foods to try, and incredibly fun activities to endure. However, when it comes to traveling the world as intensely as Nick and I plan to, health and fitness are more important than one may think.

How I was upgraded to business class - For Free
Just like most people, I like being comfortable while traveling. And what more than a business class experience to enhance the pleasantness of a trip? A couple of months back, I had a 19-hour journey to make with Ethiopian Airlines and I had the privilege to be upgraded to business class for the first leg of my journey: I spent the most agreeable 16 hours in a plane, without paying an extra loony for it. How did it happen?

5 Things About Destin, FL
1. Go to the Beach…But Have a Plan The beach is one of the main reasons to go to Destin. It isn’t called the Emerald Isle for nothing! Disconnecting to Reconnect
Dust in my eyes, a dense jungle landscape surrounding our path, the low rumbling of ATV engines in the background, and the voice of our guide saying “Please! Take as many pictures and videos as you want, but don’t talk and don’t yell. This is where the puma, snakes, and jaguars come to drink of water and we don’t want to be their lunch.” This was the scene about an hour into our “Mexico adventure”. Standing in the initial weight of that statement, I was reminded that, as a group, we decided to trade our unlimited Don Julio margaritas and poolside cabanas for this; for adventure, but this part of the adventure wasn’t advertised. Let’s go back to the beginning.
