Oxford's Covered Market
The Covered Market lies within the heart of Oxford City Centre. It is an indoor market that has made it's place in Oxfordshire History for showcasing local talent and independant stalls. The video on it's website claims over 50 shops do buisness in their premises. I know it has a lot of shops, but I was gobsmacked when I saw this. I didn't expect there to be over 50 places.

From Norwich to New York City
• There will be language barriers Despite speaking the same language, I have still come across (admittedly minor compared to my friends from Finland and Germany, for example) language barriers. There have been a couple of instances where I’ve used terms common to the UK in conversation and have been greeted with confusion or a blank stare – most notably I was shopping in Target, looking for bin bags, and was told, much to my confusion, considering the glut of cleaning products surrounding me, that they didn’t stock those. Turned out they thought I wanted bean bags.

The Trip of a Lifetime
Tanzania was the most important trip that I have ever been on. The first reason for this is because it sparked my love of travel. The second is that it was an amazing and rewarding experience that I will never forget. This was my first mission trip and I can't wait to go on another. If you ever get the chance to go on any sort of trip that lets you volunteer, definitely take that opportunity.

Refreshing Bonds in a Pandemic
The summer equinox creates an ideal environment for animals, plants and even the human spirit to thrive. New Yorkers begin to digest summers that may never be the same. I wonder, "where can the extraterrestrials in my galaxy partake in the power of freedom that comes with a lighthearted pace, fresh food and nightly cool breezes that balances the heat from a long summer day?" Daily activity and moments allowing time for rest and bonding are our essentials. It is clear we need a land of continual summer. This place would allow a “lovecation”, an optimum environment for renewing connections.

Summer in the time of COVID-19
Sandwiched by many pairs of shoulders from every direction, I stood there slack-jawed, squinting heavenward at God’s cloud-like beard. It was my first time at the Sistine Chapel, and in Rome, in general. The air buzzed with an exhilarating collective energy — with whispered conversations and long, drawn-out gasps. The space was overwhelming not only in its infinite grandeur, but also in the exhausting number of upward-gazing visitors that came to see it. This is a place I’d dreamt of seeing for so long, and I’d been waiting breathlessly for this trip after spending the majority of the year juggling numerous freelance gigs to save up for it.

Endless Horizons
It was late-September of 2019, I had this desire to do an overnight hike at a location I had only since dreamt of visiting. It was a place that continued to avoid me, due to poor weather and inconsistent planning on my part. I knew of many people who had made the trek up this mountain out in the middle of nowhere. It was a place I had only ever experienced through the screen of my cellular device, as I looked upon the images of photographers who had been to it. I wanted to go, so very badly. But the weather was always poor on the weekends, and that was the only time that my fellow hiking friends could take the time off from work to go hiking. Therefore, the only option was for me to go hiking alone in the middle of the week.
