On The Road
"You must create the right kind of dream, the sober, adult kind of magic. Illusion born of disillusion." S.Plath I think by now, we can all agree that lying on the internet is a part of our new normal. Hopefully the Generation Z will go through life with some sort of a social media awareness and breathe more easily than us, millennials, who are still trapped in comparing ourselves to what we see online, and embellishing ourselves online in a bid to match what we see. Well, fiction is relatively easy. In America, you pay for a course that gives you an exact formula for a successful fiction bestseller. A hero's journey. Exposition, action on the page 20, complication, climax on the page 142, fall, catastrophe. As anything in life vs how the USA tries to sell you life - the first will always challenge the latter. You'll sell books with this arc. But unlocking the mystery of life is not just a '$1200 online drama writing certificate' away.

Rw's Random Life
Capitol City By The American Riverside Sacramento the capital city by the Californian american riverside. Considered to be the 6th largest major city of over 500,000 people. Let's all go way back 2 when Nisenan Modoc, and Plains Miwok The original Native Americans y'all had settled the area for millenia. Unlike the settlers who would eventually make Sacramento their home, these Native Americans left little evidence of their existence. Traditionally, their diet was dominated by acorns taken from the plentiful oak trees in the region, and by fruits, bulbs, seeds, and roots gathered throughout the year.

Why Is Littering Bad For You?
This autumn Ian and I have started a new habit. Every morning, we go out for a little walk because it’s healthy and pleasant, provides us a nice wee breath of fresh air, and gives Sophie, a lovely, even if sometimes a bit sulky, husky dog an opportunity to see cows, sheep and other friends and get some exercise with the company of her small pack. Usually we don’t go far, just a few kilometres from home, walking on a quiet country road. Well, actually it’s not always that quiet as we happen to live quite close to a quarry, and pretty much every day, apart from weekends, dozens of lorries drive in and out, turning a quiet country road into a rather noisy, smelly and a bit dangerous highway.

Hi everyone, if you know me, you might know that I have moved from France to the UK for the first time about 4 years ago. And I love it. Just so you know, I don't live in London but in Kent (about 45 minutes train to central London). Here are all the things that I love about living in here and why I can't imagine living somewhere else - At least for a while.

LOST IN THE RUSIAN RIVER CAMPGROUND
I first came up to Alaska to live in 1978. We decided to go fishing at the Rusian River, with our friend. We heard the fishing was great there. We put all the fishing gear into the car and started our journey to the Rusian River. It was a nice sunny day and we were driving thru the flats. The sun was shining on the mountains and they looked pretty. On the other side, I looked out the window, and I was watching for Moose. Going past the flats is very dangerous because the Moose congregate there all the time. They like eating grass and weeds. I could not see a Moose so it was smooth sailing to Anchorage! When we arrived in Anchorage we had another two-hour drive to the Rusian River.

Moving During the COVID-19 Pandemic
In the few short weeks at the beginning of March, prior to the shutdowns, I received a job offer from a local concert venue.
