Indonesia is located in southeast Asia, straddles the equator, borders Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, Malaysia, and Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, Australia and other countries across the sea.

Indonesia straddles the equator (12°S to 7°N), with more than 70% of its territory in the southern Hemisphere, making it the largest country in the southern hemisphere of Asia (East Timor is also a Southern Hemisphere country). Its longitude spans from 96°E to 140°E, and its east-west length is more than 5,500 kilometers.

Indonesia is the world's largest archipelagic nation, made up of about 17,508 small and large islands between the Pacific and Indian Oceans. The land area is about 1.904 million square kilometers, and the sea area is about 3.166 million square kilometers (excluding exclusive economic zone). The northern island of Kalimantan lies across the sea from Malaysia, and the island of New Guinea is connected to Papua New Guinea. It faces the Philippines to the northeast, the Indian Ocean to the southwest, and Australia to the southeast. The coastline is 54,716 kilometers long.

Let's take a look at what the famous Bali Island in Indonesia has to offer.

Administratively known as the Province of Bali, Bali is located in central Indonesia, a little south of the equator (8 degrees south latitude), in the southern hemisphere. Bali is larger than the average Southeast Asian resort island, with an area close to the entire city of Shanghai.

Bali is a world famous tourist destination, so famous that many people "only know Bali, but do not know that it belongs to Indonesia". Bali is not only famous for its natural conditions of clear water and white sand, strong artistic atmosphere and unique Hindu cultural landscape, but also has visa-free preferential policies.

The most popular part of Bali is in the south, where the seascape is the best and tourism is concentrated: Nusa Dua is home to world-class hotels, Kuta Beach is famous for surfing, and the Sea Temple represents a mystical religious culture. In addition, Bali has elegant arts centers, majestic volcanoes and exciting diving spots to visit. The outlying island of Lameng, southeast of Bali, has the cleanest water and sand for all kinds of water sports.

1. Blue Dream Island

Beautiful beach view, is a perfect place for leisure vacation

Nusa Lembongan, an outlying island to the southeast of Bali, is quieter than the main island, like the Maldives.

The water here is so clear that it is perfect for diving and the underwater life is clearly visible, so it is also known as the "Glass Sea".

In addition, there are many famous scenic spots on the island, such as Dream beach, Devil's Tears, mangroves, etc., which are very distinctive.

Here you can play a variety of water sports, explore the underwater world, take a boat to explore the mangrove forest, experience a blue sky dream.

2. Temple of the Sea

Located on the sea, the temple is most Balinese

Founded in the 16th century, the temple is one of the most important seaside temples in Bali and one of the three major temples in Bali, known for its unique ocean sunsets.

It is located on a huge rock by the sea. When the tide is high, the rock is surrounded by the water and stands alone in the water. It is only connected to the land when the tide is low.

Around evening, the sunset and the temple glow, splashing waves against the rocks, very spectacular, the temple on the right side of the protrusion of the rock is the perfect place to photograph the sunset and sea temple.

Before reaching the temple of the Sea, you need to walk through a Balinese style gift street, you can buy some hand gifts, there is also a restaurant nearby, for tourists to relax.

3. Kimbaran Beach

One of the top 10 best sunset beaches in the world.

Jimbaran Beach, a long strip of Beach south of Bali's airport, is known for its spectacular sunsets over the sea and has been named one of the top 10 most beautiful sunsets in the world.

In addition to the sunset, Kimbaran Beach is also a feature of the open-air seafood stalls in the evening. You can enjoy a candlelit seafood dinner while watching the sunset.

The beach is well preserved in its original style. The warmth and simplicity of the villagers make the whole beach very approachable.
