Disneyland Rides I Could Live Without

can you live without these rides as well?

There are so many amazing and thrilling rides at Disneyland. You can easily fill a couple days going on all of them.

To be honest though, there are a few rides that I could live without at Disneyland. This doesn’t mean I hate them, but they don’t really add to the experience for me.

I skip these rides on my Disneyland trips and I know other people skip a lot of them too. I'd love to know if you agree with my list!

1. Astro Orbitor

I wouldn’t say I hate this ride, it’s just not a fave of mine. I wouldn’t spend time waiting in line to go on it.

It’s not Disney themed and it’s not all that fun and magical. It’s similar to the Dumbo ride, but it really lacks the cute theming of Dumbo that I love.

2. Autopia

I actually do really hate this ride. The last few times I’ve been on it were not enjoyable so I don’t ride it anymore.

I probably need some extra magnesium because pushing on the gas pedal the entire time makes my foot cramp up and hurt.

My husband rode it with one of our toddlers and they got held up on the ride for a while.

My toddler had a hard time with this and was annoyed that he couldn’t drive the car because he’s wasn’t tall enough.

3. Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage

The submarine ride is not the ride for you if you’re claustrophobic. You’re in a small submarine that’s now the easiest to get in and out of.

It’s a little stressful thinking about if water were to start leaking in and it’s just not a super fun ride. I do love the Finding Nemo theme of it, but that’s about it.

If you want to experience this ride, but not actually go on it, you can go to a room called the Marine Observation Outpost.

There’s a door to the right of the loading dock where you can access it. There’s a screen so you can watch the ride from this room.

4. Main Street Vehicles

I think the Main Street Vehicles are nostalgic and so cute. I love looking at them and riding them, but I don’t love being on a busy Main Street that also has Main Street Vehicles running.

It’s hard to get out of their way when they’re coming through though, especially when you have a stroller like I do.

5. Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride

Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride is in Fantasyland, which is such a happy and lively place, but I find this ride to be dark and strange.

It doesn’t feel very Disney like and is lacking the charm of the other Fantasyland rides.

I don’t hate this ride, but there are so many other rides I’d rather go on that are a lot more magical and fun.
