BEGINNING ANY GOOD STORY
It used to be difficult to adventure out of our front door.

Always prolonging the inevitable. The anxiety of placing one foot out into the unknown suffocated me, dread placed her chilling hands across my throat and squeezing my chest so in that moment I stood paralyzed by fear. What makes someone brave? Are some of us destined to become greater and others less? Do some of us have a more superior chance (in this day we may perhaps call it being privileged) of succeeding and achieving more than our counterparts? Each one of us live in a world where untold possibilities lay head of us waiting to be discovered.
As in the thrilling story told by J. R. R. Tolkien in Lord of the Rings. Sam says to his friend, "I wonder what sort of a tale we’ve fallen into?"
Your life is a thrilling tale with grand adventures awaiting right out that door, and like our little friends in the Lord of the Rings we may not know what tale we will fall into, but what is certain is your already in one. What is ahead of you may be good or bad. It is certainly definite you will have opportunities to turn back or perhaps hide from your fate. That is after all, the sort of tales that make a story great. We would never read a book or watch a movie without the hero having a great conflict. A fight for what they deem right. The truth is our own lives are not like movies and the ending is not always foretold. The journey is always better then the destination. You get to choose your ending. Some are destined to lead and carry a mandate in the journey. Others find themselves playing smaller roles and learning that even the smallest of people can make the biggest of differences.
It's inevitable that we will face dark days, but to carry a light in the darkness is the choice we make to change history. In the famed marvel movies, not every one is born a god, has been born into riches, or had their genetics altered. Not everyone's path leads them to greatness, but the choices they made taught them to be heroes. Their pasts may not have been the prettiest of stories but in the end they rose above the past and the pain to become something greater than what they were born into. You are something greater, inside of you is a light waiting to carry the torch. You can be the hero in your story.
At one time in my story I feared the adventure outside the door. The comfort of my safe house became the prison that held me from my identity. There is an enemy who fights in the darkness so that you never find your true self. He will always us comfort to keep you bound. When the enemy comes not even the safe place is safe. It becomes the prison, it wasn't until I learned how to be untamed, the chains and bondage holding me back became the catalyst for my freedom. You were designed to hold power, designed to live free. The only thing missing from your story is you. Enter the Adventure of a life time. Enter your story. Out that door is only the beginning, my family and I are just beginning. Along with my wife and kids, we are working to remodel the house and sell it. Everything we own, we are selling. In a over used metaphor, we are selling everything to buy the field with a treasure in it. Will it be worth it in the end? We do not know for certain, but it will be an amazing adventure.
