Castle of the Baron of Itaipava, or just Itaipava Castle, was built in the early 1900s by aristocrat Rodolfo Smith de Vasconcellos. It was constructed of materials sourced from Europe. The castle was built in a mix of medieval and romantic styles in the Petropolis region, Rio de Janeiro. At the front entrance is a large pool with a drawbridge.
