Bali | there is always a holiday to belong to Bali

I didn't expect that this was the situation when I wrote this article about my trip to Bali.

By doyusPublished 3 years ago 11 min read

Speaking of Bali, it was not the first choice for me to travel to Indonesia. I visited this super hot island only when I came to Indonesia for the fourth time.

However, when I look at Bali after seeing a lot of scenery in Indonesia, I really want to correct his name. The so-called "first-class hotels, second-class beaches, and third-class scenic spots" are totally unacceptable to me.

In addition to the first-class hotels, there are also high-quality beaches and scenic spots. As long as you explore carefully, you will be amazed.

Bali is rich in sand beaches and coasts, lush rice fields and lakes, and several outlying islands with beautiful scenery.

There are both natural scenery and cultural landscape here. You can take photos and punch cards, and you can also explore the treasure hotel.

Of course, Bali is indeed a very popular destination with a lot of tourists. If you just go to the place where the tour groups gather, it is really easy to be disappointed.

But if you do your homework well, you can also enjoy the Bali time that belongs to you and does not queue up and pile up.

——

The first stop in Bali is Kuta, which should be the first stop most tourists will choose, because it is very close to the airport and the beach, and there are many hotels to choose from.

Kuta area is not the focus of our visit, so we only arranged a small beach called Pantai Tegal beach. It is very close to jinbalan, but compared with the bustle of jinbalan beach, it is still quiet.

Kuta | find a niche beach to see rocks and waves

Kuta's transportation is very convenient. You can choose taxis, grab or charter buses here.

In order to make it convenient for us to book a chartered car for one day in advance, we have to say that the price of a chartered car in Bali is really not expensive. The price of a car that does not exceed the area within 10 hours is 200. The two of us are equivalent to 100 yuan per capita.

Just plan the itinerary and determine the departure date and time, and the driver will pick me up on time on the same day.

The weather that morning was very clear, and large clouds floated freely in the air. This weather is always exciting.

Pantai Tegal beach is under a cliff. When you look at it from a high place, you can see that the coastline here is long. Like Lombok Island, the south of Bali also has many unique landforms.

Go down the path to the beach, where there are rocks on one side and rolling waves on the other. The sea wind blows on your face and you feel cooler.

Pantai Tegal beach is not a monotonous beach. There are many rocks scattered here. The large rocks on the back of the beach add a shade to the beach. It is also very comfortable to take a bath towel and lie down here to enjoy the sea breeze.

This is also an excellent place for photographing portraits. The large rocks make the coastline full of layers. We can always find good-looking photographing points when walking around. In addition, there are not many tourists, so we have a great time photographing here.

The visit of Pantai Tegal beach is greatly affected by the tide. If the tide is high, the sea will always overflow the reef, and the pedestrians can hardly get off. In this case, it is basically impossible to visit.

If the tide goes out, the depressions formed by rocks on the beach are like natural bathtubs. It is also very interesting to take photos here.

The tide varies with the time period. If you want to have a good experience, you can check the tide table in advance.

It is worth mentioning that sometimes the waves here are very big and fierce. When taking photos and playing, you must pay attention to your safety, and those with children must always watch them.

Island travel is different from the travel in cities or plateaus. There is no need to spend a lot of time on the road. When we arrive at a beach or a landscape, we usually walk slowly, or simply sit down and lie down, look at the clouds and blow the wind.

I think this is one of the reasons why many people like to come to the island for vacation. When you are facing the blue sky, white clouds and the boundless sea, you feel happy just looking at it. Even if you do nothing, you don't feel like wasting your time.

After a short day in Kuta, I set off for Ubud, which I was looking forward to most. It's funny to say. Who would have thought that what I expected most when I came to the island was to see the terraces.

Although there are many terraced fields in China, as a northerner, I still see few rice fields.

The tropical terraces and coconut groves, and the pictures of houses decorated with local characteristics are also indispensable when visiting Bali.

Ubud is located in the middle of Bali. It takes more than 1 hour from Kuta to Ubud. There are green rice fields along the way. It is always pleasant to drive here and look at the scenery on both sides.

Wubu's market is still very lively, but it would be a pity if you only stay in the market. There are many small people and treasures around here.

Ubud | look at the largest terrace and enjoy the fresh green

Our first stop in Ubud is the jatiluwih terrace. His English name is jatiluwih rice terraces, which can be found on Google maps.

Because we heard that the price of food in the scenic area was too high, we found a restaurant along the way to solve the lunch problem.

Fortunately, this restaurant is a view restaurant. It's really a pleasant thing to eat in front of a large terrace. The restaurant is a buffet, and the taste of the dishes exceeds my expectation. The price is more than 60 per capita, which is quite cost-effective.

After eating, drive all the way to the terrace of jatiluwih. The ticket here is 60K rupiah per person, equivalent to about 30 yuan.

This terrace is one of the largest terraces in Bali. You can't see the end when you drive through it. You can see a lot of terraces. Some places are like this. We know that our choice is correct at the first sight. We can't wait to explore the green world in front of us.

The terrace of jatiluwih is very large, and there are many entrances for tourists to walk. It is basically impossible to visit all the areas in a short time. You can look at them while walking, and choose the most pleasing entrance to go in and explore.

Unlike the impression of "spectacular and magnificent" given by domestic terraces, the terraces in Bali are beautiful, with dense coconut groves and small pavilions interspersed among the regularly arranged rice fields. Occasionally, a few ducklings are found hiding in the rice fields. There are footpaths for tourists to walk in the middle of the rice fields.

It's very pleasant to walk here. In addition to the large scenery, there are also exquisite small scenery here, which is beautiful.

It also needs some luck to travel to the Terrace Scenic Area, because all the rice planted here is real rice, and the landscapes derived from different rice growth stages are different.

We were on our trip in mid September. At that time, the rice had just grown to a height of more than 20 cm. The water was tender and very attractive.

I prepared Hanfu in advance to take photos in the terraces. The pink Hanfu and the fresh green and light blue sky are forming a very harmonious picture. This time, my Hanfu brigade took another small point on the map ~

There is no need to worry about stepping on the paddy fields when walking between the terraces, because there is a corridor with weeds between the paddy fields on each floor, and visitors can walk in it.

However, be careful that the mud will slide and fall down. Qiqi fell down here tragically=

At that time, he was carrying two cameras on his back and was seriously looking for the angle to take pictures. Then he slipped and fell in the mud. However, we were worried about the camera for the first time! Ha ha ha

Fortunately, there was nothing wrong with the camera and the people, except that they fell all over the mud, and the camera straps were covered with mud, so there was a picture of two people washing clothes at the faucet in the field ~

In addition to coconut trees, there are also many tropical plants growing in the rice fields. It is also confusing to see all kinds of plants interspersed among the terraces. Tourists from all over the world come and go on the road. The number of tourists here is not very small, but because the scenic area is very large, the tourists are quite scattered. Compared with many popular scenic spots in Ubud, it can be considered as a paradise ~

Walking in the scenic area in Hanfu, I have a feeling that I can always be treated favorably by most people. People in the past always smile. Some people come forward to say: "you are beautiful". It is always a joy to be liked by people.

In such a scene, I suddenly feel like "returning to nature". Everything that grows naturally has its unique beauty, and rice, which is a crop, also has such a scene.

In the afternoon, the sky was still a little blue, and the paddy fields under the gloomy sky were full of dark green. At this time, the temperature was just right, and it was neither hot nor dry. We sat in the field to take photos and chat and enjoyed the moment.

I understand more and more that such days are rare. The weather is just right, the mood is just right, there are no distractions and worries.

It's hard to simply exist in the present.

Leave the jatiluwih terrace and continue to our next destination: wanagiri hidden hills.

The most popular photo elements in Bali in recent years are the bird's nest and the swing. Although I like to take photos, I don't want to take photos in places where people queue up. In that case, the travel experience will not be very good.

So I finally chose a very small place to shoot, in wanagiri hidden hills.

It is located in the north of Bali, not far from the water temple and the gate of good and evil. If you want to come, you can also visit it in series.

Ubud | there are different bird nests and swings here

In fact, this place should not be counted as Ubud, but because I really don't know what area it is, it is also counted as Ubud ~

It takes nearly an hour to drive from jatiluwih terrace to wanagiri hidden hills. With the elevation of the road ahead, the weather changes from rain to sunny.

The sky is blue and very clean. Large clouds gather in the sky. The distant mountains and people are illuminated by the golden afterglow of the sun.

It's quiet here. It's a very clear and refreshing feeling of quiet. I like it at first sight.

In fact, wanagiri hidden hills is not a scenic spot. It is a photo taking place with various elements, including swing, bird's nest and other shooting elements. The ticket is 50 yuan / person.

When I was doing the strategy, I saw that the price shared by other people was 25 yuan. I didn't expect that the price had doubled when I arrived. In many places, the sooner the better.

The location of wanagiri hidden hills is very good. You can overlook the Twin Lakes, remote mountains and villages. The whole view is very broad.

Therefore, although the bird's nests and bamboo woven objects are very common, they are also a rare beauty under this scene.

There are very few tourists here. Apart from us, there is only another couple taking photos, so we can take photos freely and happily. The Hanfu and these bamboo fabrics also coincide unexpectedly.

If you go there alone, don't worry. The staff here are very friendly and warm-hearted. You can ask them to take photos for you. After taking photos, you can give some tips.

In fact, in addition to these photo props, I really like the scenery here. I'm even sorry that I only arranged a little time for here, and I didn't have more time to take a sunset delay.

If I have a chance, I hope to meet you here again. (pray again that YQ will pass quickly)

The most brilliant thing here is the swing hanging on the tree with the lake in the background.

When you go on the swing, there will be a special person responsible for safety. After you sit down, the stool will be removed for tourists to take photos. The effect taken here is like being integrated into the painting. It is really full of Fairy Spirit ~

What needs to be noted is that you must pay attention to safety when taking photos here. Safety is the first thing, and you can't put the cart before the horse. Of course, there will also be several staff members nearby to take care of them. If they have any help or the like, they can also tip appropriately.

Wanagiri hidden hills is a treasure for girls who love to take photos, but it may not be worth visiting for those who only want to see the scenery but do not like to take photos. Different people have different opinions on different places.

It's a little far from the busy area of Ubud. It's not very cost-effective to come here alone. But if you want to connect the water temple and the gate of good and evil, it's also a stop you can't miss

Leaving wanagiri hidden hills ended the day's journey. It was really a full day.

In the morning, we set out from Kuta and got stuck in traffic all the way to Ubud. Then we met Xiaomeng and visited the terraced fields and wanagiri hidden hills. The weather on this day also changed from sunny to rainy, and then from rainy to sunny. Then we met with heavy fog on the way down the mountain.

Behind every full journey, there is a full heart, and the destinations that have been determined by making strategies and looking up information are finally unfolded in front of us.

Wubu | sleeps in the water to enjoy the moon and lives in the bubble house

On that night, we stayed in Ubud. There were a lot of treasure houses in Ubud. We stayed in a very dreamy bubble house. The bubble house was called Allen bubble Bali, and it was opened by Qiqi's friend Allen.

Allen is a Chinese girl married and settled in Bali. This bubble house is the land of her husband's house (cast envious eyes ~)

It is surrounded by mountains and forests, and there is a river beside it. It's really like living in nature.

It was already dark when we arrived. The bubble house at night was surrounded by dim light. After we put down our luggage, we went out to enjoy the moon. That night was the Mid Autumn Festival. The full moon on August 15 was hanging on the dome. It was really looking up at the bright moon and looking down at our hometown (hotpot). Ha ha ~

A very interesting thing happened here ~
