This post is about a woman who survived three shipwrecks.

We all know about the sinking of the Titanic at sea as well as the many ships that sank. This was largely due to the absence of major scientific discoveries about the sea. A person is very lucky to have survived a shipwreck. But a woman has been involved in not one, not two but three shipwrecks. He has survived all of that. We are going to see in full in this post just about that girl.

Violet Joseph

VIOLET JOSEPH

On October 2, 1887, Catherine Joseph, a couple living in Beha Blanca, Argentina, gave birth to a baby girl. They named this baby Violet Constance Joseph. The couple then gave birth to 9 children, of which only 6 survived. During his youth, Joseph focused on caring for his brothers and sisters. At one point, he contracted tuberculosis at a young age. Then Violet escaped DP due to the serious efforts of the doctors. In this case Joseph was 16 years old when his father died during an operation. His family later emigrated to England in search of survival.

Katherine came to England with her children to attend school. Then Katherine started looking for a job for her family income. He got a job as a studio. Stavadirus means women who do the work for the passengers on the ship. Stewardess is the name given to those who work on a ship like the one who has an air hostess onboard.

At one point, Katherine became ill. So he could not continue the mission. But Violet was forced to leave her studies and go to work because she needed a home income. Not sure what works for Violet who has not even finished reading. Only then did he decide to choose his mother's path.

RMS Shipping Company

RMS SHIPPING COMPANY

Like his mother, Stuart is applied for a job at several shipping companies, intending to work on the ship. He was not pretty to look at when the shipping companies interviewed him. Many rejected the claim that only beautiful women would be fit for the job. But when interviewing him, the shipbuilding company RMs took his mother's ship as a plus point

Nursing training

NURSING TRAINING

The company also decided to hire him as a medical assistant nurse instead of directly involving passengers on duty, despite his beauty. Accordingly she was given nursing training. It gave me my training on how to save someone in danger while sailing in the Mediterranean and training on shipping.

Royal Mail Line

ROYAL MAIL LINE

He then began his studios at the age of 21 in 1908 aboard the Royal Mail Line. Although this was the only cargo ship, Violet was the first to be assigned to provide medical assistance to the crew.

RMS Olympic

RMS OLYMPIC

The company tried to give him the opportunity to work on a passenger ship because Violet did a better job in this situation. In 1911 he was assigned to the RMS Olympic, also known as the White Star Vessel. It was the largest luxury cruise ship of its time.

Accident

ACCIDENT

The ship set sail from the port of Southampton on 20 September 1911. Shortly after takeoff, the ship collided with the British warship HMS Kavikke. The ship was damaged. But no one was killed. The ship did not sink. The ship was safely returned to port as it was about to return to port. Fortunately, everyone on board survived.

Titanic

TITANIC

In this case, the shipbuilding company decided to build the largest cruise ship in the world that no one else could break at the same time. That ship is the world-famous Titanic. The company also hired Violet as a nurse on the ship, preparing to embark on the Titanic at the age of 24.

Full Titanic

FULL TITANIC

On April 10, 1912, the Titanic set sail. On the 4th day of the voyage, on April 14, the Titanic began to sink in a collision with a sudden glacier in the Mediterranean. Sensing the situation, Violet instructed the people who did not speak English how to guide them in an emergency and loaded the people on the lifeboat on board.

Boat No. 16

BOAT NO. 16

The ship's management allowed him to board the 16th boat. He was also given a child and ordered to be brought ashore safely. Accordingly Violet and some other passengers boarded the lifeboat. The boat was lowered into the sea on the ground.

RMS Carpathia

RMS CARPATHIA

At this point, the Titanic sank completely. They were waiting for help on a lifeboat. Upon hearing the news of the sinking of the ship, the ship RMS Carpathia came to the rescue. Those on board rescued Violet's lifeboat No. 16. They thought Violet would be the mother of that child. They were then safely brought ashore.

HMHS Britannic

HMHS BRITANNIC

In this situation came the First World War. During this time Violet served in the British Red Cross. The HMHS Britannic was then prepared for war as a ship equipped with medical facilities. The ship set sail on November 21, 1916. Violet embarked on her next voyage as a nurse on this ship.

Aegean Sea

AEGEAN SEA

The ship was caught in an explosion while sailing in the Aegean Sea. The accident caused the ship to sink and the crew began to escape by lifeboat. Violet, who was involved in the accident, escaped in a lifeboat. Within 55 minutes of the eruption, the ship was completely submerged. Of the 1066 passengers aboard the ship, 30 were killed. The British government rescued others from the lifeboat.

Virgin cracker

VIRGIN CRACKER

How the ship sank in an accident was a great mystery. Many conflicting reports have surfaced about the sinking of the ship. It was often thought that the ship may have been caught in a maiden explosion at sea by the Germans. However, the British government was said to be responsible.

Red Star Line

RED STAR LINE

Somehow Violet escaped this accident as well. These accidents are the most significant of the largest shipping accidents in the world. A woman was involved in these 3 accidents and the woman escaped from 3 accidents. He later traveled around the world twice, working for several shipping companies, including the Violet Red Star Line and the Royal Mail Line.

Rest

REST

He retired in 1950. An interesting incident followed. One night after he retired he got a phone call. In it, a woman spoke. The woman asked Violet, "Did you save a baby when the Titanic sank?" Asked. Violet was shocked to hear that and said yes. The woman on the other end said, "I'm the baby," and hung up the phone, smiling.

John MacDonald Planet

JOHN MACDONALD PLANET

All of this information was revealed to the outside world through a book written by Violet's friend John MacDonald. There is a woman like this. It was revealed that he had been involved in 3 shipwrecks. Violet had never shared her entire life story with anyone until before that.

Name list

NAME LIST

John, who writes extensively on the sea, was on the list of survivors of three ships when the same name was on the ship's list when he researched accidents at sea for books. It somehow caught John's eye and it was only when he searched for that violet and spoke to him that all things came out.

Child

CHILD

The baby's mother was also rescued from the Titanic when Violet arrived with a baby. After reaching the shore, the child was handed over to the appropriate mother. After that, it had nothing to do with Violet and that baby.

Violet death

VIOLET DEATH

After Yan wrote the book about this incident. This came as a big surprise to many. Several media outlets interviewed Violet. The surprise about Violet was talked about a lot. Violet died in 1971 at the age of 83.

The unsolved mystery

THE UNSOLVED MYSTERY

The mystery, in this case, is that it was the age that saved the child from the book written by Yan. Nobody knew about it before then so who called Violet and talked about that kid? How did he get Violet's phone number when he was actually the kid who said that? All of this is an unsolved mystery.
