The cradle of Renaissance art
Rouen was one of the largest and most prosperous cities in Medieval Europe. There are many famous people in history. The author of the novel Madame Bovary, flaubert, the world-famous great writer, was born here. Rouen is the capital of Normandy, only one or two hours' drive from Paris. It is a famous city with a history of one thousand years. There are many historic sites, which witness the history of France, and it is a beautiful city described by many famous authors. The famous Rouen Cathedral is an amazing sight, attracting visitors from all over the world with its stunning combination of grandeur and refinement, its stunning towering spires and asymmetrical towers. In order to capture this beautiful picture, monet lived opposite the church for a period of time and painted the beautiful church in different colors at different times. The stones of the cathedral change colors as the sun shines, the stained glass sparkles, and this beautiful cathedral is the cradle of Impressionist art.

Amsterdam
I must have walked down every uneven street in the city center, taking in every crooked canal house and dodging hundreds of bikes all day. This is my first time traveling by myself – something I’ve always dreamed of doing but always felt too young to do. After saving up enough money, I decided to spend my birthday in one of my favorite places: Amsterdam. As the hot day in July came to a close, I took my place on one of the many green park benches placed along each canal, dreading my flight back home in the morning. I sit there eating a waffle watching the sun go down. The dark orange hue of the sky reflected off the water painting the street in a deep shade of honey, eventually being replaced by the soft glow of the streetlights. Riverboats overflowing with tourists along with small boats of locals drinking and singing pass by me. I’m listening to music, enjoying the last moments of my trip.

Think Fast
Rita Summers had always loved beautiful, bustling Thailand with its purring, lively streets. It was a place where she felt happy, safe and free. She had decided to take a trip to the Thai island of Koh Samui on a whim after the death of her beloved Siberian Husky, Luna. Luna had been there with Rita through the death of her father, her dropping out of Grad school, losing her full time job that she really enjoyed, etc. So in an attempt to free herself from the pain and grief of losing her beloved pet, Rita decided it couldn’t hurt to dip into a bit of her savings just for some alone time and mental clarity.

Unfinished Business
New York is lovely in fall and I had an entire afternoon free to wander on my own and do touristy stuff. I saw the Statue of Liberty and climbed up the crown room (I am glad that I was able to do that). **To be young and in love in New York City (in New York City) **. I like climbing tall buildings and observing things from a great height. It feels good to remember all the terrible stuff that you went through because you had a good heart from high places. All the times when you thought you would not be able to make it through but you did, somehow, with the Universe.
