gender roles
A look at the evolution of gender roles, from Leave It to Beaver, paternity leave, female breadwinners and more.
Being a Woman
Being a woman sucks, plain and fucking simple. Times have changed but not enough. Women are still the minority in this world. It goes men, children, the elderly, animals and then women. We come fucking last always, no matter what. This world is cruel and not made to have women in power.

Masculinity and violence
95% of homicides on the planet are committed by men (UN, 2013), 93.2% of people in prison are men (WPL, University of London, 2018), 75% of suicides are carried out by men (600,000 each year)… These are examples that reflect an objective reality that indicates that “violence is a man's thing”.

Womens' rights in Ghana now!!
Womens' issues in Ghana are rarely discussed in the Ghanaian media, be it print, electronic or on-line and when they are they are not treated with the respect they deserve hence the fact that many people in Ghana today are ignorant of the key issues that affect women.

This Stay-at-Home Mother Needs her Fantasy Romance Novels, OK?
People read for so many reasons; I read for many reasons—To learn, for fun, under duress… but mostly, I read to escape. Escapism has been my coping method of choice for as long as I can remember. Be it film, television, music or books, I always found ways to ensure my mind was absorbed in anything other than reality. If none of those sufficed, I’d slip into the depths of my imagination and make something up.

The Endurance of Women
I have been doing a lot of thinking lately and I have come to the conclusion that women are the most amazing "beings" on the planet...look at what we endure as women! Men are pretty great too, I mean lets be fair we would not be able to build the world family wise without them because without sperm there are no babies...fact! But I feel like they got it easy compared to us...just look at what we as women go through in our lifetime.

Why Are All Men Right?
Why do my husband and I constanly battle about "who knows more"? It's utterly rediculous how much he knows and how much I don't! According to him I have NEVER been right about anything! Why do men do that? Not that all men do, but all the men in my life do. I swear I can't remember a time that a man in my life actually "listened" to me. I have a ton of knowledge, but according to them, I am an idiot, but god help me if I say "oh, sorry I know I am just an idiot I guess" of course I am being a sarcastic bitch because they have now pushed me to the point of wanting to reach out and slap the sense into them!

Stop Slut-Shaming Anne Boleyn
Anne Boleyn is one of the most misunderstood women in history. She is most often portrayed as a scheming, self-serving seductress who got what was coming to her. But this assessment is grossly unfair when one considers the circumstances of her life and the mores of the times.
