We Are Diana Prince
A person connects with a character, storyline, or even a community for a number of reasons. My current icons are Wonder Woman and Jessica Jones. I didn't find them in the comic book store or, in the case of Wonder Woman, on reruns on TNT. I found my love of them when they hit the screen in the last few years. The idea that a woman could save the day when her male counterparts didn't think she could made my little feminist heart sing. And with the state of the world as it is right now, we need all the heroes that we can get. And the amazing thing about Wonder Woman is that she's not just Diana Prince. She's all of us. Diana Prince is white, black, indigenous, Middle Eastern, LGBTQIA+, Trans+, Nonbinary and Genderqueer.

A Minor Incident Can Ruin a Lot
I learned from this experience and to all the ones who have gone through this, you do not have to face it alone. Just around this time last year, I decided to visit my boyfriend at the time, as for he was leaving to basic training for the military in a week. Little did I know he was going to do something so horrid.

Best Feminist Quotes by Emma Watson
I’m a diehard Emma Watson fan ever since she starred in the Harry Potter film franchise as Hermione Granger, who was voted the best female Hollywood character of all time. Not only is she a stunning model and actress, Emma is also a major feminist and activist who never puts her guard down when it comes to equal rights. She’s also been appointed as a UN Women Goodwill ambassador and helped the launched of UN Women campaign HeForShe, which calls for men to advocate gender equality.

Meeting Mr. Right... or Wrong!
This story starts with a simple woman, who has one hell of a past. Sitting with friends in a cafe one Thursday morning, the autumn sun was poking through and there was a cool breeze in the air. I sat, not taking a blind bit of notice of what was going on around me, I was having one of my daydreams. I could vaguely hear the conversation that was going on, although it was muffled. My friends called my name and brought me back to earth. I was the only one of my friend circle that wasn't in a relationship, so the discussion was about me getting out there and finding 'the one.' I wasn't so sure at the time, but they convinced me to sign up on a dating site.

Are You Faded?
Scandalous females will do just about anything for a dollar. *** As much as I like to joke around when I tell my stories, most of them are pretty serious. This story is a little hard for me to tell. It resulted in some PTSD triggers which have affected the rest of my life. This was a very valuable life lesson learned the hard way.

Societal Expectations
I’m 21-years-old, and I’m alive and well in the year 2018. A time to be alive for a woman. Being able to own property is cool, being able to receive an education, being treated as a person instead of an object (most of the time), and having fundamental human freedoms. Why is it, that in 2018, I still feel like I must choose between having a relationship and a career? It’s one or the other, right? That’s how we’ve all been trained.

Five Historical Women You Really Wouldn't Want to Mess With
Though there have been many female warriors throughout history, many have been sadly neglected in the history books in favor of their male counterparts. In this list, I will discuss five of the most fearless women who ever picked up a weapon. Though they lived in many different time periods and cultures, they all had the same desire to fight for themselves and their people.

Fat Shaming—Like Cancer to the Soul
Many women in our society—yes, myself included—have learned to hate our femininity, hate our form, hate our maturity as we grow older, hate our bodies, our minds, deny our wisdom. How many of us women who have a certain amount of extra weight have experienced the following scenario...or similar?
