I grew up with a homemaker mother, a working father. I was raised to believe that women belonged at home, men at work. I grew up with conservative Republican parents as a bisexual woman, and I heard a lot of political discussions between my grandfather and my dad and my great uncles. Women didn't talk politics in our house.

I remember my mom introducing him as her new boyfriend. He had just got out of prison living in a halfway house. He seemed different but I was only 6 what would I know. I just knew my mom was happy with him and being young and seeing her get beaten in the face with the end of a gun until her face was bloody by her ex, i just cared about her being happy.

Find Your Inner Queen
Every female struggles with finding herself and it takes time for us to figure out who we truly are. I struggled for years and years trying to find myself. When I was younger, I always tried to fit in and be like everyone else. This led me to make up dumb lies just so I could have similarities with others.
