
Back again for another trip through the NCAA Transfer Portal. As the revolving door continues here is a look at more transfers that will see talent in new places during the 2021-22 season.
Jaia Alexander
New School: Coppin State, Previous Schools: Butler, Clemson
A 5-11 guard from Baltimore, Jaia Alexander returns home to compete for Coppin State. After missing the 2019-20 season, Alexander averaged a career best 9.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game for Butler. She posted two double-doubles during the season. She also had a season high three steals in a road game against Marquette. Alexander's best offensive effort also came against Marquette where she scored 22 points in a home game. Prior to competing for Butler, Alexander played two seasons at Clemson (2016-2018).
Jade Loville
New School: Arizona State, Previous School: Boise State
Jade Loville had some gigantic nights during the 2020-21 season. The guard averaged 17 points per game during the year. Her biggest game was a 40-point effort in a road win over UNLV. Loville connected on 19-of-28 shots during the offensive explosion. Earlier in the season during her fourth game, Loville posted 31 points in a close two-point win against Fresno State. She knocked down 12-of-23 shots in that victory. Her lone double-double of the year came against Utah State where she scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a win against Utah State. Loville's third highest scoring output came against Colorado State in the MWC Tournament, where she dropped 29 points in another victory.
Shalexxus Aaron
New School: USC, Previous School: Syracuse
No school seems to have more players leaving than Syracuse with 12 players in the portal, but Shelexxus Aaron is heading to the school in New York state. Aaron missed the 2019-20 season due to injury but the 6-1 guard's leadership was respected as she was named team captain. In 2020-21 she played in just 10 games, averaging 6.8 points per game. A capable three-point shooter, Aaron had three games in double-digits. She poured in 16 points, knocking down four-of-seven triples in a road win over Utah. In another road win against Washington State Aaron drained four-of-six threes on her way to 15 points. In 41 games, she is a career 41 percent three-point shooter.
Bailey Helgren
New School: Minnesota, Previous School: Kansas
Bailey Helgren is a native of Edina, Minnesota, and she has decided to return to her home state after three seasons at Kansas. She played just seven games during the 2021 season grabbing a season best eight rebounds in a 100-59 route against Oral Roberts. She averaged two points and 5.6 rebounds per game. In the official press release, Helgren said, "I'm so thankful for the opportunity to come play at home. Growing up I was always a fan of the Gophers, so it's surreal to finish my career out playing for Coach Lindsay Whalen and her staff. The people within the program make it special. I can't wait to get on campus this summer."
KeKe McKinney
New School: Charlotte, Previous School: Kentucky
During the 2020-21 season, KeKe McKinney averaged 5.9 points and five rebounds per game. She scored double-digits seven times including a 13-point performance in a road win over Florida. McKinney had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds in a 20-point victory over Belmont. McKinney blocked a season best three shots against Iowa. She also had two games where she nailed three-of-four three-point shots. Her top assists total came against Samford with five and she blocked at least two shots eight times. Her season high of three blocks came against Iowa in the NCAA Tournament.
