Fantasy Football is closing in on the end of that early period of the season, that exact moment that determines whether or not your team(s) have a legit shot at something good. Regarding Week 4, it was quite an interesting week in the world of Fantasy Football. Some overachieving, some shocking underachieving, and all very wild during the last NFL week of September.

So who were Week 4's top Fantasy scorers? Here's the list:

QB: Justin Fields

Here's how fantasy scoring works for quarterbacks: 1 point per every 25 passing yards (or 0.04 points per passing yard), and passing touchdowns are 4 points each. Interceptions are usually a 1 point deduction, and lost fumbles are a 2 point deduction. By just over 4/5 of a point, the top nod for QBs went to Justin Fields. That's right, the Steelers had been getting by with their defense, but in Week 4, Fields absolutely showed out. Fields threw for 312 yards (12.48 points) and a touchdown (4 points), and ran for 55 yards (5.5 points) and 2 touchdowns (12 points), for a grand total of 31.98 points! A close second on that list was Jordan Love, who's monstrous performance gave him a total of 31.12 fantasy points.

RB: Derrick Henry

It was a huge week for running backs on Fantasy Football, but to the surprise of absolutely no one, it was a king leading the way. Fantasy scoring for running backs goes like this: 1 point per 10 rushing yards, and touchdowns are 6 points. Receiving scoring rules also apply; 1 point per 10 receiving yards, and touchdowns are 6 points, and there's also PPR (Points Per Reception). Derrick Henry ran for 199 yards (19.9 points) and a touchdown (6 points), and had 3 receptions (3 points) for 10 yards (1 point) and a touchdown (6 points). A grand total of 35.9 fantasy points. In Henry's first touch of the game: 87 yard touchdown. That's 14.7 points on one play!!!

WR: Nico Collins

Scoring for WRs goes like this: PPR is applied, and most leagues award a full point per reception. Also, it's 1 point for every 10 receiving yards, and touchdowns are 6 points each. For Week 4, Nico Collins was the top receiver on Fantasy. 12 receptions (12 points), 151 yards (15.1 points) and a touchdown (6 points), totalling 33.1 points. The top three was rounded out by Packers receivers: Jayden Reed (27.1 points) and Dontayvion Wicks (24.8 points).

TE: Tucker Kraft

Tight ends were also having quite the field day in Week 4. Scoring for tight ends is the same as receivers, and the top scoring TE for Week 4 was the Packers' Tucker Kraft. Kraft's numbers: 6 receptions (6 points), 53 yards (5.3 points), a touchdown (6 points), a two-point conversion (2 points), but also lost a fumble (2 point deduction). That's 17.3 points. Wow! Pat Freiermuth was close behind with 16.7 points, while Travis Kelce put the rumors of his decline to bed with 15.9 points.

K: Nick Folk

Scoring for kickers goes like this: extra points are 1 point, of course. Regarding field goals, those under 40 yards are worth 3 points, 40-49 yard FGs are worth 4 points, and those 50 yards or longer are worth 5 points. Week 4's highest scoring kicker was Nick Folk, who made two extra points (2 points), a sub-40s FG (3 points), a FG in the 40s (4 points) and three FGs in the 50s (15 points). A grand total of 24 fantasy points for Folk; he was one of two kickers to crack 20 points in Week 4--the other one being Younghoe Koo (20 points).

DEF: San Francisco 49ers

Here's how scoring for team defenses goes. Regarding scoring defenses, a shutout is 10 points, giving up 1-6 points is 7 points, giving up 7-13 points is 4 points, giving up 14-20 points is 1 point, giving up 21-27 points is no points, giving up 28-34 point is a 1 point deduction, and giving up at least 35 points is a 4 point deduction. Elsewhere, sacks are 1 point, interceptions are 2 points, safeties are 2 points, fumble recoveries are 2 points, blocked kicks are 2 points, and touchdowns are 6 points. The 49ers had the top scoring defense for Week 4, racking up 6 sacks (6 points), an interception (2 points), 2 fumble recoveries (4 points), a touchdown (6 points), and gave up 13 points (4 points), for a grand total of 22 fantasy points.

So do I have any of these players? I do have Derrick Henry and the Niners defense, and they made me really happy during Week 4. Chances are a lot of people had those two. Week 4 was quite a week in the world of Fantasy Football, and Week 5 should be no different!
