Rating the jerseys of all T20I teams in 2021

Apart from the riveting action that cricket teams provide on the field, another sight that catches the attention of the viewers is the jersey that the teams wear. For, the jersey that teams wear is also discussed at length by the fans as well.
The Indian team has worn jerseys with varying shades of blue in limited-overs cricket. The Indian side wore a dark blue jersey at the dawn of the 1990s. Then, during the early 2000s, the shade of blue changed to a light color. And once again in 2021, the Indian side under Virat Kohli is wearing a dark shade of blue. Similarly, the jerseys of other teams have been modified on several occasions as well.
With the jerseys that teams wear garnering a lot of attention, let us rate the jerseys worn by the top 8 teams in T20I cricket in the year 2021.

8. Sri Lanka – 3/10

The Sri Lankan side wears a predominantly blue-colored jersey with shades of orange, green, and a tinge of brown also added to their jersey. And, the jersey might not appeal to some viewers.
So, we can give a rating of only 3/10 for the jersey worn by the Sri Lankan team. On the cricketing side of things, Sri Lanka has experienced a torrid run in the T20I format of the game in the recent past.
In their last 11 T20Is, the Sri Lankan side has managed to win just a solitary T20I encounter. The Islanders will play their next T20I on 23rd June 2021 against the England side at Cardiff.
7. Afghanistan – 5/10

The Afghanistan side wears a semi-light blue jersey in T20Is. The jersey bears the name of the team in front in bold letters and also contains the name of the sponsor ACC Alokozay on the front part. There is also the logo of the team that is visible on top of the jersey.
The jersey looks decent but does not look very attractive. Hence, we can give a 5/10 rating for the Afghanistan team jersey. On the cricketing side of things, Afghanistan has experienced a stupendous run in T20Is.
Out of their last 8 T20Is, the Afghanistan side has won 7 of them. Even the one T20I that they lost went to the Super Over. Surely, things look bright for Afghanistan cricket in the future.
6. South Africa – 5/10

The South African T20I jersey is a predominantly yellow-colored one with stripes of green running across the jersey as well. The jersey bears the logo of Cricket South Africa on the top left-hand side corner, with the name South Africa written in bold letters in the center of the jersey.
And, the jersey does not look very attractive. Hence, this jersey will receive a rating of 5/10. South Africa has experienced a torrid time in T20I cricket. In their last 15 T20Is, the side has won just 3 matches and has looked totally out of sorts.
South Africa will next take on the West Indies in a five-match T20I series starting on 26th June 2021. All five matches in the series will be played at the National Cricket Stadium in Grenada.
5. Australia – 6/10

The Australian cricket team now wears a jersey where the predominant colors are black and green. The jersey bears the name of Alinta Energy in the center, with the logo of the Australian cricket team and the picture of a kangaroo on the top as well.
The Australia T20I jersey is a decent one, and they will receive a rating of 6/10 for their T20I jersey. As far as the on-field action is concerned, the Australian side has experienced a ‘mixed bag’ in their last 9 T20Is. While they have lost 5 T20Is, they have emerged triumphant in 4 matches as well.
In the previous T20I series that they played against the New Zealand side, the Aussies lost 2-3. They will next take on the West Indies side in a five-match T20I series from 9th July 2021.
4. Pakistan – 4/10

The Pakistan team wears a jersey that is green in color. While light green is the dominant color on the jersey, the sleeves of the jersey are dark green in color. The jersey also bears the name of the main sponsor of the team, Pepsi. The jersey also bears the logo of the company Easypaisa.
The Pakistan jersey also has the symbol of a green color star on the front part as well. The Pakistan jersey is not so bright and has a dull look to it. And, we will give the jersey a rating of 4/10.
On the cricketing side of things, the Pakistan side was last seen in action in a three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe, which they won 2-1.
3. New Zealand – 7/10

The New Zealand cricket team jersey bags a rating of 7/10. The Kiwis wear a jersey that is black in color. The New Zealand jersey looks attractive and catches the attention of the viewer.
The New Zealand jersey bears the name of the Company ANZ on the front. It also has the name of the Canterbury Company on the front part as well. The Kane Williamson-led side has been in good form in T20Is.
The Kiwis have won 6 out of their last 8 T20Is, and are on a roll. New Zealand last played a three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, and whitewashed their opposition, winning the series by a margin of 3-0.
2. India – 8/10

The retro jersey that the Indian side has worn in the recent past in T20Is has received a tremendous response from the public. The jersey is a throwback to the earlier days of Indian cricket, where they used to wear the dark blue jersey. And, the jersey surely has a sense of nostalgia attached to it.
The Indian T20I jersey, bears the name of the company Byjus in the front, with the name of the team clearly visible on the front part as well. The MPL Company logo is also visible on the top corner of the jersey. Due to the attractive look of the jersey and the positive response that it has garnered, the jersey will receive a rating of 8/10.
India has had a mind-boggling run in T20Is. In their last 15 T20Is, the Indian side has won 12 of those, including series triumphs against New Zealand, Australia, and England. The Indian side will next be seen in action in T20I cricket against Sri Lanka in the month of July.
1. England – 9/10

The top-ranked side in the world in T20I cricket has an extremely attractive jersey as well. The England cricket team has a red and blue gradient coloured jersey for T20I cricket. The jersey bears the logo of the Cinch on the front part of the jersey.
The jersey also bears the logo of the New Balance company on the top as well. The England and Wales Cricket Board logo is also seen on the front part of the jersey. The England team jersey receives a score of 9/10.
England has been in good form in T20I cricket. Out of their last 19 T20Is, the Eoin Morgan-led side has lost only 5 matches. The England side will be raring to go in the T20 World Cup 2021.
