The BIG3 League Returns
The NBA season ended about two weeks ago. The Golden State Warriors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in a 4-0. The Warriors swept the Cavaliers in what was arguably an unexpected turnout. Regardless of who won, I didn't expect nor did I want a sweep. As a fan, I didn't want the season to be over so quickly. I wanted a 6 or 7 game series. But it didn't work it.

WWE RECENT NEWS: Tribute to "The Man They Call Vader"
First and foremost, I want to take some time to write about a tragic loss that affected the entire WWE Universe, the WWE Staff, and anyone who had the pleasure of working with such a great man. Leon White, also known as Vader, passed away Monday evening at the age of 63. This one really hurt to see, as they all are. Vader was a huge part of my childhood, and my first real interest in the art of professional wrestling. I remember vividly being legitimately scared of this big man from the Rocky Mountains. I fondly think of the many matches and the feud with Sting he had. I used to wake up at 5:30 am, maybe even earlier, just to watch the WCW Power-Hour. That was the only WCW show I knew of at the time. Later on I saw him enter the WWF, and I had the pleasure of seeing him live a couple of times. Man, as an eight-year-old kid, he was a monster. His in-ring abilities were second to none, for a man of his mammoth size. I am so grateful that I got to see this artist perform live and in person. Vader was always a big star to me because he was a pioneer for the "big guy" wrestlers. Moonsaults from a man that size defy logic. Thank you Leon White for taking the WWE (WWF) universe to a place of sheer amazement. Every story needed a good bad guy, a good heel. Back then in the simple world of good guy wrestlers and bad guy wrestlers, you were the baddest. I will always remember what you brought to my childhood and professional wrestling. Thank you for always reminding us what time it is. Vader-time!! Rest in Peace Leon White. My hat's off to you sir on a job well done and a life well lived.

Why We Need to See Slamball Come Back. Top Story - June 2018.
I'm probably in the minority as someone who was an avid Slamball viewer. Most people who have heard of Slamball think of it as only basketball with a trampoline, but it's much more than that. Slamball emphasizes speed, precision, and power into one insanely entertaining 20-minute event. While the sport couldn't capitalize on its initial popularity in the early 2000s, it would thrive if it was brought back today.

What Makes a GOAT?
It’s June 19 and LeBron is almost certainly going to be wearing a different colored uniform next season. The man is 33-years-old and is no longer playing for league dominance—he’s achieved that multiple times, from his pure athletic superiority during his first Cavs run, to the fear the Heat spread across the league, to his transcendence into a basketball savant in his most recent stint in Cleveland. LeBron no longer has anything to prove. He’s shown that he is the best player in the present day NBA landscape. He’s shown that he is clutch, ending that myth when he beat a 73 win Warrior team with one of the greatest blocks of all time. He’s shown he’s a winner, clinching two rings in Miami and then a coveted third in Cleveland. He’s no longer in the arena with the likes of Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, or James Harden. Now he is battling with something that may be impossible to defeat—the ghost of Michael Jordan.

The Latest Installment
If you are over twenty-five, then you can recall the last real dynasty in the NBA. The 2000-2003 Lakers dominated the league and went on one of the greatest playoff runs in the association's history. A time in the association where hero ball was on its way out and low post dominance still held some sort of significance. Shaquille O’Neal was shouting expletives at his owner during training camp in Hawaii and Kobe had a taper fade. Ah, the good ol’ days. Well, those days are long gone, and there is a new sheriff in town. The Golden State Warriors locked up their third NBA title in four years last Friday night without much resistance from Lebron’s Cleveland side stamping a new era in basketball. The champs sent Lebron packing, likely to a new city, in the form of long range bombs and swagger on their way to solidifying their dynasty. A dynasty that given the probability of new league money and a front office with a hole burning in their pocket that looks to be here for the near future.

8-7 Overtime Victory for Fox Lane Lacrosse Ends Yorktown’s 53-Game Winning Streak
Fox Lane lost a two goal second half lead to the Lacrosse Dynasty in Yorktown on Saturday afternoon. The leveling off must have had Fox Lane and their faithful feeling their hearts in their stomachs as the 47th minute came to a close at Yorktown High School. But Fox Lane Coach Chris Coughlin had his ticker in a much more secure place as the waning moments seemed to spell doom on a valiant effort against the Section One powerhouse.

Best Football Gear for Linebackers in 2018
Whether you are an inside or outside linebacker on your school's JV team or watching some of the best NFL defenses, the important role a linebacker plays on defense requires just as much attention in the game as is does to prepare for the first and last hike. The equipment a linebacker chooses is critical for not only player safety, but comfortability as the position requires swiftness, versatility, and freedom to lay down a game-winning hard hit on the football field at all times.

The NBA Needs Queer Players
For a heterosexual NBA player currently in the league, it can almost be guaranteed that they feel absolutely no pressure being open about who they love, because who and how they love is considered "normal." The only real issue a heterosexual athlete having relationship-wise unless they are being unfaithful, secretly in love with someone of their own family, or legal issues. I hope for none of these things, but people are people and you never know what you’re going to get.
