On Sept 1st, 2016, when Colin Kaepernick first decided to take a knee during an exhibition game in San Diego with his teammate Eric Reid. He could not in his wildest dreams have imagined the global impact he was about to have. His taking of the knee during the national anthem, to protest systemic racism in the United States became a global symbol of support for racial equality. After the death of George Floyd in May 2020 and the rise of the Black Lives Matter protests, around the world, public figures from politicians to sports stars took the knee.

Sibling Senseis With all the physical prowess of the Pillsbury doughboy, my life as the youngest of five kids was not all cookies and ice cream. As the baby of the family, I held the high position of being the guinea pig of each of my siblings. My sisters tested their hairstyling skills on me and my brothers tested their wrestling moves on me. By the end of the day, I wasn’t sure if my black eye came from the mascara my sisters tried on me, or the “accidental” fist one of my brothers slipped on me while my arms were pinned behind my back.

Darci Khan Kentucky's Darci Khan kicked off her collegiate career in December of 2019, with a runner-up finish in the 1,600-meter relay at the Jingle Bells Open which was hosted by her school. She also finished third in the 60-meter hurdles that day as well. Her first collegiate win came at the Weems Baskin Relays this outdoor season as a member of the 1,200-meter relay squad.

Vegas Golden Knights vs Montreal Canadiens
After an incredible second round, the Vegas Golden Knights advance to the final four of the Stanley Cup playoff. Waiting for them are the Montreal Canadiens. And even though everything has been wonky in this covid/first post bubble season, it has been confirmed the "conferences" will compete yet again for the "Prince of Wales and "Clarence S. Campbell" trophies accordingly. Then of course the obvious for the winner, a shot at the Stanley Cup in the Stanley Cup final. I felt that was important to mention since the league about a month ago said that they would not be competing for the conference trophies this year.
