3 Big Questions After Double or Nothing
With Double or Nothing over, there are still lingering questions heading into AEW All In.

Another spectacular AEW PPV is in the books. Double or Nothing heated up Glendale, Arizona with its edge-of-your-seat matches and surprise winners.
Hangman Page and Mercedes Mone came out victorious and punched their tickets to All In on July 12th. Page and Mone’s wins were met with mixed reactions, and it’s opened up more questions as AEW moves on to their next PPV.
1. Will Hangman Page Finally Get His Redemption?
There's no denying that Page is one of AEW's biggest babyfaces. Since losing the AEW World Championship to CM Punk at Double or Nothing 2022, the cowboy's been on a downward spiral. Although he's had many opportunities to contend for the title, he always came up empty. Every loss drove him further into a dark state, making him question his worthiness.
But three years after his championship loss, Page is on a redemption arc. Now that he's won the Owen, he's got his sights set on Jon Moxley and the AEW Championship.
Moxley has been lucky in retaining his title so far thanks to help from the Death Riders. It’s going to take a huge star to take down Mox and make for a feel good moment at All In.
While Page seems like a perfect choice to dethrone Mox, AEW is known to throw in some shocking twists. July 12th will be a pivotal moment where Page either finishes his story or is hit with another roadblock.
2. What’s Next For Will Ospreay?
Ospreay is one of AEW’s best wrestlers and the odds-on favorite to win the Owen Cup. While he gave Hangman a challenge, at the end of the night Ospreay came up short in championship pursuit.
Ospreay vs. Moxley would’ve been an excellent match at All In. The Aerial Assassin defeating Mox and walking into the Forbidden Door PPV as champion would make for a great wrestling moment. But Ospreay will have to wait a little longer before he win AEW’s top prize.
So since Ospreay lost at Double or Nothing, what does he do at All In?
There’s plenty of talent for him to work with. He and Swerve Strickland could team up to take on The Young Bucks. Or Ospreay could challenge Adam Cole for the TNT Championship.
But Ospreay might make his presence known during Page and Mox’s match. During the buildup of his match with Page, Ospreay has been leaning more towards heel than babyface. If he is turning heel, All In is the perfect place to do it.
With Ospreay still fuming over his loss, he could cost Page his match against Mox. Or Page pulls off the victory, then Ospreay comes down to congratulate him, but attacks, thus setting up a championship feud.
3. Will Mercedes Mone Still Be TBS Champion Heading Into All In?
Mercedes Mone vs. Jamie Hayter is another Double or Nothing match that has fans riled up. Many were rooting for Hayter since she’s an underdog, and she has history with Toni Storm. But AEW decided to go the money route by having Mone win and challenge Storm for the Women’s Championship.
Mone vs. Storm is undoubtedly a huge dream match. As AEW’s top two women’s wrestlers, they’ll give it their all in the buildup and match.
However, one of the downsides is Mone’s TBS Championship.
The TBS title is the second most important title in the women’s division. Nobody’s been able to defeat Mone for the championship since she won it a year ago.
At one time, it was rumored that Mone vs. Athena for the TBS Championship would happen at All In. But those plans have been scrapped. Unless something changes, it looks like there won’t be a TBS Championship match or possibly any other women’s matches at All In.
Most fans agree it’s unfair for Mone to hold the TBS title til All In. While there’s the prestige of a champion vs. champion match, having two separate women’s matches and giving other female talent a chance to shine is better.
Right now the TBS Championship is becoming an afterthought with Mone focused on the Women’s Championship.
