The History of FIFA Corruption
Disregarding the players and incredible fanbase for one second; all you're left with realistically is a multi-billion dollar corporation that heads the scheduling, maintenance, televising and governing body controlling one of the most profound and highly regarded sports organizations in the history of athletic entertainment. FIFA heartbreakingly went from first being an unrivaled televised athletics business and sports program, and devolved into a melting pot of improper tactics, bribery, negative transactions, and a multiplicity of corrupt ideals spanning a long line of history, which many have tried to ignore, or have gone to great lengths in disregarding. It's rather hampering on the beauty of soccer, as a sport, as is any scandal involving an intermingling of both business and policy. Sadly, FIFA is not new to scandalous behavior.

The NY Rangers Encapsulated....
If last week's 5-2 loss to the Nashville Predators doesn't tell you all you need to know about the NY Rangers organization (and today's NHL) from top to bottom, then maybe someone can educate me. Maybe, I'm missing the boat. Perhaps, I still think "old school" going back to when players defended and police'd each other on the ice and didn't wait for incompetent and ill-suited referees to do their jobs for them. Or a bloated NHL "rooms" bureaucracy or an endless line of suits who have done little but confuse everyone both on the ice and off and restrict the players from actually doing their job - part of which is to protect each other. A lot of this is a result of Gary Bettman catering to the whims and the desires of corporate America rather than respecting what the game of hockey had always been about. And sometimes aside from it being a beautifully and artistically played game, it is a violent and aggressive game. Today, it resembles more the McDonald's franchise model, where everyone plays the same, looks the same and there is barely a personality to be had. There are more rules than ever before and not surprisingly, these rules are as inconsistent in practice as they are in theory.

Can You Find the Hidden Meanings in These Sports Logos?
Have you ever really taken a good look at your favorite sports team’s logo? Or, maybe you’ve spent far too much time glaring angrily at your least favorite sports team’s logo as you jab at its effigy with voodoo pins. Either way, it should come as no surprise that many of the sports teams out there have some form of hidden message or symbolism that represents part of the heritage of either the city, the owner, or any other piece of its history.

Foles Gold!
Here's a little bit of perspective on how unlikely and remarkable this Eagles championship is. In week 14, when superstar quarterback Carson Wentz went down with a torn ACL in Los Angeles against the Rams, a large collective groan was heard from the Philadelphia region. In spite of a sparkling 11-2 record, many believed it was game over. Take this guy, for example.

New England in the Super Bowl Is Drama Guaranteed
I am already aware that most of you reading this hate the Patriots. And that's fine. You tire of Brady and Belichick, maybe because of the cheating scandals, maybe because of how Belichick handles the media, maybe because they not only always win, but they often run up the score at every opportunity too. Maybe it's simply that they've been on top for just too long. Quite understandable.

Five Things We Want From the XFL
The XFL is making a comeback like a zombie from The Walking Dead. Instead of infecting you with a deadly virus, the XFL is looking to infect you with patriotism and love for football. Vince McMahon's new project aims to take some of the viewers that the NFL has been losing over the last couple of years. Protests, changes to the rules & politics have discouraged some fans from watching the NFL. One of the ways that McMahon looks to vulture some of these fans is to "eliminate" politics from football. In the new XFL, the players will be required to stand for the National Anthem & any type of protest will be done on the player's personal time. This, making the game faster, & fan participation are some of the changes that McMahon promises that would make football great again. But what are some actual changes that the average NFL fan, or even just a TV fan, would like to see on the XFL? Here are five things that the XFL could do to make me want to watch their games:

10 Players Manchester United Should Have Signed Instead of.... Top Story - February 2018.
The recruitment at Manchester United at times hasn't been good enough, and the wrong players have been brought in too often. In 2018 however, the squad is strong, as Jose Mourinho's puts his vision for a United team together. But it could have been much simpler for Mourinho if United's executives and previous managers hadn't made such questionable decisions when other available players were out there. This list will put together ten players Manchester United should have bought when they opted for someone else.To keep it in the realm of possibility, each potential transfer I mention has either been linked to United or that player was transferred around the same time United bought an alternative.
