Lionel Messi: The World's Greatest Soccer Player
How does one describe Lionel Messi in one word? Supernatural. Born in Rosario, Argentina, Lionel Messi signed for FC Barcelona at the age of 13. In the 2003-2004 season, 18-year-old Messi made his debut for Barcelona under Frank Rijkaard's managerial guidance and has since became a world phenomenon. Since the night of his debut, Messi has gone on to make 992 appearances from club and country (not excluding friendly matches), scoring 661 goals and having 210 assists.

Most Expensive Soccer Cleats in the World
Any soccer player knows that gear is crucial in the game. Sometimes, you can make do with cheap finds, second-hand gear, borrowed gear, and other ways to save money, but one thing that many people are willing to invest in is the right fit and design of soccer cleats. That's why the most expensive soccer cleats are just so expensive. Cleats are simply one of those things that you can't afford to skimp on, as a poorly designed or poorly fit pair of cleats can limit success even for the best players.

Don't Stay in a Sport You Don't Like
Every school sports team coach has favorite players. I was not one of those players. I was the one who was never picked for anything. The one who was always picked last. Basically they didn't care enough about me to fully help me improve because I didn't care enough to try.

NBA Northwest Division Predictions
The Northwest was arguably the best division in the NBA last year, with 4 out of 5 teams making the playoffs and the 5th team just barely missing the mark. Each team is impressive, but are they as good as they were last year?

A Few More Thousand "Words" to Look At
The feedback has been pretty positive for the photo collections I have been creating on here from the September 15th Winnipeg Jets' Training Camp/Fan Fest day, and seeing that I have a few hundred shots on my hard drive that are all just aching for an audience, here's a few more.

For the Love of the Game: Fantasy Football and Other Soul Crushing Reasons to Keep Watching the NFL
So it's already week 4 of the NFL season. Can't believe we are a month in already. My feelings on the NFL as a whole are very mixed; it's entertaining yet the level of play is poor, the coaching has been really bad across the league and the refs don't seem to know the rules anymore. With all that said, there have been some fantastic finishes and a monster upset (the Bills winning outright while being a 17 point underdog last week).
