Can the #19 Hawkeyes Make the Playoff?
In a conference that seems to be the Ohio State show every week, the Iowa Hawkeyes are not backing down without a fight. Iowa doesn't have the toughest schedule. They have faced a good Iowa State team and Wisconsin so far. They have to play a ranked Penn State and Northwestern who currently leads the Big Ten West standings. If Iowa can win-out, are they worthy enough to be in the playoff?

Then Why Don't They Coach That Way?
Preface I have coached youth sports for over 25 years. Coaching is mainly my hobby, although I have been getting paid for the last ten years, but I view sports as a terrific analogy to life in general. There are far too many kids who do not have good foundations in the home or role models to help them learn how to cope with the trials of growing up. Sports are great teaching tools if they are taught properly.

Game #4: Winnipeg Jets vs Nashville Predators
After having gone hard at it during playoffs in April and May of this year, with the Winnipeg Jets coming out victorious over the Nashville Predators in an intense seven game series during the 2018 NHL playoffs, their first meeting would begin at a boiling point. Revenge was in the hearts of the Nashville Predators, who came out with a 3-0 win on the scoreboard over the visiting Jets. However, in terms of other statistics, the Jets came out on top in all counts over the Predators, locking them out during all nine power plays they had throughout the game.

There are some obvious things you can do to stay healthy, like eat smarter and play pickup games with your friends. It's not enough to tread water though: You need to constantly be working to improve your technique. Luckily, there are plenty of exercises you can do no matter what your resources are. Even if you are already doing soccer exercises to improve your speed and power, there are soccer footwork drills you can do without a ball, agility exercises you can do without a field, and speed exercises you can do without a partner.

Week 5 Picks Against the Spread
So it's Thursday night. The NY Giants are playing and Eli Manning currently looks like shit (not a surprise) and I contemplate why I still watch this god forsaken sport. I talk about how much the NFL sucks all the time and yet I am still watching. I guess I have a sickness; whatever. At least Saquon Barkley is fun to watch but other than that, screw everything that is New York Giants related. Puke city. What's crazy is that last season, when Ben McAdoo benched Eli last year and everyone (myself included) maybe he was on to something. Whatever, I am done with the Giants this year. NBA season can not start fast enough for ya boy.

A Fighter's Fight
Sebastian coughed a bit with the smoke in his face. He turned his head and spit out some blood that had gathered in his mouth. He was racking his brain on who was sitting near her and remembered the man that seemed slightly uncomfortable with his victory. The man with what had appeared to be a black toupee, cheap tan pinstripe suit and penny loafers. He looked back at the woman he now knew as Trinity and back toward the doors to his venue. The same man was now walking down the steps toward them. Over the raucous noise that the crowd was making, he heard the man speak to her.
