Does Coronavirus Mean the End of Sports as We Know Them?
For decades, sports were a constant, part of the background noise of American culture, and maybe an unhealthy obsession. Games were always on. Radio always filled with banter. Twitter fights were had. (And enjoyed by many). There were office pools, side bets and serious gambling. Sports gave us something to talk about when the conversation slowed, something to watch when there was nothing else to do.

Getting Started With Golf
If you like playing videogames, then chances are that you’ve played a good couple of golf games in your life. These golf games can be based on reality or have some elements of fantasy to it. There are games out there where they have golf balls that can fly off a great distance or golf courses that look something out of a fantasy movie. Golf in videogames is always fun and with motion sensor technology, people can emulate playing golf at home with the use of their consoles. They can swing their arms and score for that hole in one. Videogame golf is fun but what if you wanted to start getting into the world of golf.

The language of Sunday League Football
Sunday League Football. Where fitness levels are, at best, questionable. Where hangovers are a given. Where playing surfaces are atrocious. Where a half time fag is acceptable. Where the lad who once had trials with United is marked out of the game by a 43 year old plasterer from Wigan. Proper football. And we love it.

The Toronto Raptors have taken the risk this season, found a rhythm and grown since winning the NBA.
The Toronto Raptors. 2018-2019 NBA Champions. Eastern Conference Champions. A first championship for the Raptors in the 2019 NBA Finals. A year ago, I may not have remembered this, but a year on and I do. And I love being a part of the Raptor family.

John Jay Wins Fox Lane Tip Off Tournament
After defeating Poughkeepsie in a tight back and forth game in the semifinals of the Fox Lane Tip Off Tournament on Thursday Night, Saturday afternoon’s start looked like it would be a cruise for the John Jay girls. But a 20-5 first quarter lead against Blind Brook turned into some pretty choppy water for Indians. “Our girls would go on a run, Blind Brook would battle back and then we would make big shots,” said John Jay Head Coach Matt Gallagher. Of course, somebody had to laugh last when all was said and done.

My Mom The Winter Warrior
On a frigid January afternoon in northern Wisconsin, my 64 year old mom was out cross-country skiing on one of the toughest trails in the world. She was preparing for the 50 kilometer American Birkebeiner when she hit a patch of ice, slipped, fell, and blew out her ACL.

Brofessional Begins
I'm willing to bet you're asking yourself : "Who the hell are you and what's a Brofessional?" To that I'll answer: My name is Justin and I've been exchanging my labour for golf privileges for the past 5 years. Yeah I only make minimum wage, but I also get amazing access to facilities and expertise for the price of.. on the house. Which is where the term Brofessional comes from; an occupation which may not explicitly pay the best, but instead offers implicit returns like: having access to expertise, free course & range access, discounted equipment to name a few, but more importantly it offers me an outlet for comedic expression and avenues to pursue content creation as a serious career. So that's my mission: to take full advantage of the opportunity of working at a golf course so I can become a better golfer, flex my creative muscles and meet a lot of interesting characters along the way.
