Typical York
This weekend should have been Bootham Crescent’s swansong. Typically, though, things didn’t go to plan. York City, predictably unpredictable, saw the final season at the club’s much-loved old home turn into a characteristic roller-coaster. Top of the league when coronavirus struck, the Minstermen missed out on promotion from National League North via a points-per-game calculation that put them behind King’s Lynn. Next came a vociferous appeal to ‘promote two’, via a playoff if necessary, and York returned to action on July 25 against Altrincham. City hadn’t played a game since March 7 Alty defeated Chester in the previous week’s eliminator and recent form made the difference in front of a deserted Bootham Crescent. So, instead of a final showdown against Boston United, the season ends in Lincolnshire as York’s fans contemplate the club’s retained list and hope that next time – at last – the team might start climbing the football pyramid once again.

A bit too late? Or right on time?
A boxing match that no one thought they would ever see is about to become a reality. I could wholeheartedly admit that I am absolutely a huge combat sports fan. Whether it is a Golden Boy Boxing Promotions event or a UFC or Bellator event, you could always expect me to be ALL-THE-WAY tuned in.

Revenue Of Big Five European Football Leagues To Plunge By €1.9bn In 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a massive impact on the entire sports industry, causing thousands of competitions and professional leagues to be canceled or postponed. Despite the efforts of broadcasters, club owners, and sponsors to minimize consequences of cancelled matches and empty stadiums, the coronavirus lockdown has produced a costly financial hit this year.

A retro football experience
Four years ago, when ‘lockdown’ was merely an adaptation of the notorious catenaccio tactic beloved of Italian defenders for decades, the football season was getting underway just now. On July 30, I was off to Shildon to see the curtain-raiser for the Northern League season. Shildon, defending champion and league cup winner, took on Marske United, runner-up in both competitions, for the Cleator Cup. League action would resume the following weekend.

Meanwhile In the first round of the Coca Cola tournament, We played Samuel high school Out of pleasant grove And we beat them in a landslide , 96-47! As the rounds continue, competiton starts to heat Up and Began to be more competitive Towards one goal and mind and that’s to win The Coca Cola tournament. So in the second round we play Madison Our schools longtime rival , located in the same area of south Dallas. We squeeze by Madison in a close game 87-81 , Now competition gets harder and harder the 3rd round we played Carter high school located in Dallas Texas Also. We end up beating carter and another close game of 71-67 .Now it gets really interesting , For the rematch Of the state championship from 2016 It was Silsbee tigers Vs Lincoln tigers Dallas vs Houston . We end up losing our rematch to silsbee by a score of 70-76 i feel like I had the best game of my junior year with 20 points and 7 rebounds and 4 assists . The acceptance of Us losing resulting us To play for third place The next day , The next day Is was 12:00 PM noon We played Lancaster High school for the third place trophy , it was Tigers Vs tigers . The game was intense and we had the lead going into the 4th quarter and We choked the lead out and losing to the Lancaster tigers by a score of 63-83 . For us it was a good run because that’s the farthest we ever Been in a Coca Cola tournament and we Never wanted to Feel downed that we lost back to back games. For the remainder of the year , We went 27-5 overall (12-0) in district play , that lost to Lancaster was only our fifth lost all year and every since that lost , we never lost again. That was just our mentality going forward was To not lose and make Dumb and stupid decisions when the game is close like that. We get to the playoffs of my junior year in high school , First round we play krum high school In Lewisville TX and we end up beating Them by a landslide of 102-66 . The defending state champs ( Lincoln) moves on to play Ferris second round of the playoffs . We end up beating Ferris 78-61 and that game was my best game In the playoffs so far with 17 points 8 rebounds and 5 assist as a 5’11 guard., we move on again and the Competition gets better and better every round , third round we play Decatur high school out of Decatur Texas . The Game was close until about 3 minutes in the fourth quarter and we just pulled away from Decatur by a final score of 73-67 so the defending state champs move on To the fourth round of the playoffs to play Paris. High school again in the 4th round for the Second consecutive year . The game was tied in the fourth , who wants it more ? Both teams fighting to Achieve the ultimate Goal and The final score was 69-73 Paris gets the win over Lincoln high school to advance to play Argyle in the fifth round . For us it was a historic season and we left it all out on the floor . What an amazing junior year of basketball i had . So long to my seniors I was playing for in the playoffs, as they move on to a better Step in life as I prepare for my senior year of basketball in the summer of 2017. Constantly working out everyday to be the best player I can be on an off the court and in the classroom .
