Ross Taylor will retire from international cricket
Ross Luteru Lote Taylor is a former leader of the New Zealand national cricket team and an international player. He is New Zealand's highest run-scorer in Test and ODI cricket, batting primarily at number four. Taylor made his 100th Test appearance for New Zealand in the first Test against India on February 21, 2020. Taylor also made history by being the first cricketer to appear in 100 matches across all three areas of the game. Taylor has become the most captivated and professional player for New Zealand in international cricket on December 26, 2020, when he played in his 438th match in all three forms, overtaking Daniel Vettori. He played his first of 233 One-Day Internationals against the West Indies in 2006. Taylor made his test appearance in 2008. He's also played 102 Twenty20 internationals for New Zealand, enabling a first player to participate in all three forms for the country.
