Miscarriages and Misconceptions
There has always been a great debate about abortion, long before Roe v Wade. Some people believe that it is immoral and that it is murder. Others believe it is a woman’s choice since it is their body. I am going to go into this from a male perspective and beyond.

Here's a List of All the Drugstore Brow Products That Suck If You're a Blonde
If you're a blonde on a budget, you probably already know the pain of trying to purchase a product that claims to be "Taupe" or "Blonde," only to discover its orange undertone. By some magical force, the lovely grey-based shade you scraped on the back of your hand has now become a lovely Cheeto-inspired colour when it hits your face.

Momma's Little Mermaid
She danced and played throughout the waves. The familiar sounds of currents hitting the rocks nearby brought a smile to her bright, little face. She flipped her tail up and down. In circles she swam round and round. The icy water brought her great joy. And she giggled as it enveloped her tiny body. She splashed and jumped with so much courage, it brought me pride and I waved.

Wolf Girl
“Aye Dios Mio! That poor woman. Eleven years and it still haunts me today," Eduardo took off his hat and looked away from the campfire. “Filipe just barely caught up to me when he saw it himself. He almost looked like a white man! He turned so pale at the sight of her body. When that poor man John Dent first came to us, he was battered and bruised. The storm was rough that night. He pleaded with me and Filipe to help him with his wife who was in labor. Well, we just felt so sorry for him we couldn’t turn him down. So we decided to leave the ranch in the care of your father, Juan. Unfortunately for John, God struck him with his wrath. He was electrocuted on the spot. After burying the body, we continued on to help the woman. There was no helping John anymore now but we could probably help his poor wife at least. But the storm proved too powerful and we were forced to wait it out. When the storm passed, we headed towards the place he had given us directions to. But I guess they weren’t in God’s good favor because when we got to the cabin, the wife was dead, just as her husband. Except instead of being electrocuted, the wolves got to her instead. Tore her into pieces. I guess the only way they’ll be remembered now is by their gruesome fates.”

Don't Raise Your Kids to Be D*cks
Parenting is difficult for anyone, but as parents, we must do all we can to raise our kids the best we can. They are our legacy and the future of the world. They will encompass all that we are in a tiny package, so for God’s sake, raise your kid’s not to be dicks to others.

We Treat Our Pets Like People Because We Can't Rely On Humans Anymore
When I discovered puppucinos for the first time, I was flabbergasted. Coffee for dogs, whaat?! There is no way caffeinated bean water is good for my pup, I thought to myself. I can barely make it through a cup of coffee on my own (tea drinker, sorry) and suddenly it was supposed to be trendy to give that stuff to my dog? Of course, I later learned that a puppucino was really just a bit of sugar and whipped cream which of course, I then consulted the internet to find out if it really was OK to give straight whipped cream to my dog. It was in this, unscientifically-biased search that I found the internet as conflicted about this situation as a bunch of parents debating about if they should feed their child McDonalds hamburgers.

Grateful for the Pain
Sometimes being protected is the very thing that gets us hurt. I grew up in a rather strict and devoutly religious home. We still acted like normal people, watching movies and spraying whipped cream into our mouths, but a few key things were different. I didn't have a curfew because I had to have permission to leave the house in the first place, and breaking a rule felt like breaking a law. My parents gave me or my two older sisters "the talk," because they thought that something that wouldn't happen had no reason to be talked about. All you needed to know was "no," and the rest would come at marriage.
