Katonah Doctor Offering Medical Marijuana Consultations in Mt. Kisco
You don’t have to wait long on late night TV for some comedian to take shots at the idea of people using marijuana for medical purposes. Dr. Lynn Parodneck, whose private practice in Mt. Kisco is now offering marijuana consultations, has no problem joining in lightheartedly. “The jokes are funny,” she freely admits. But she hasn’t taken up the cause to be part of a national punchline. The closure of St Vincent's in Manhattan gave her the impetus to leave behind her gynecological practice and take the opportunity to help people who are suffering.

How CBD Oil Helped Heal My Acne. Top Story - May 2018.
Image Retrieved From: Top Rated Anything - https://topratedanything.com/health/vaping/top-benefits-of-using-cbd-oil/ We have all been there... when you're online searching for hours and hours looking for something that might help your skin. Or when you're spending hundreds of dollars, trying countless products, and nothing seems to be working. I struggled with that for about 10 years of my life. Throughout high school, I had cystic acne. I tried anything and everything I could get my hands on and nothing seemed to work. I was tired of using harsh chemicals on my skin with no results. So I ventured down the "all-natural" path, hoping to find something that would help. And I did.

Medical Marijuana Vs Alzheimer's
What is Alzheimer's disease? Alzheimer's disease is a mental deterioration in seniors that causes severe memory loss. How is the brain affected? Well, a normal brain will slowly shrink with aging. Yet, neurons will not die off in large numbers. During Alzheimer's, the chemical and electrical communication between neurons in the brain are grossly distorted. This results in the death of cells. The hippocampus portion of the brain is in charge of making new memories. However, when Alzheimer's takes over, this area of the brain is exceptionally vulnerable. The hippocampus will begin to shrink up. Dementia Care Central explains this process, "Picture a large city with all its lights on. Each home, street, and shopping center has its own light switch... Now imagine that a problem occurs with the wiring or circuits... Each home, street, and shopping center gradually loses power and the people are unable to carry on as normal. It eventually becomes harder to cook dinner, drive through the city, and do business in stores." This anecdote shows the strain it would take for someone with dementia to constantly perform daily tasks without fail when all of the circuits are frayed. Ever hear the phrase "lights are on but nobody's home?" Yep, that has also been used to describe dementia.

Stupid High (Remembering an Event)
Marijuana had a big impact in my life during my senior year of high school. It was around April when my ex- boyfriend had broken up with me while I was depressed and had developed insomnia. I had a lot of stoner friends and they always bragged about how weed helped calm their anxiety and would help them forget about things for a while. When I would smoke weed I always did it just for fun, until one depressing day I tried to get stupid high to forget all my problems for a while.

Marijuana on the Brain
In January of 2014, Colorado became the first state in America to legalize the selling of marijuana products to adult consumers. Since then, Colorado has made billions of dollars, which in turn financed businesses and state instead of criminals. Crime has also dropped more than 10 percent since the substance was legalized, making Colorado a safer and richer state. Along with Colorado, states such as Washington and Oregon have also fully legalized marijuana, making weed a rapidly growing, widely known item. Not only is marijuana becoming super popular over the years, it has developed its own culture as well. It has even changed the culture of weed here on the islands, causing the point of view of the plant to be more accepted. Although marijuana has many positive impacts on revenue, health, and crime, how does it affect one’s cognitive abilities?

How To Make a DIY Gravity Bong
A gravity bong, also known simply as "grav" bong, is exactly what it says: a bong-like apparatus that's typically for smoking marijuana, but utilizes gravity. The grav bong is something entirely different than any other glassware and even joints, in my opinion. Nine times out of ten, no matter if it's a veteran or newbie taking the hit, said recipient will be coughing into mania after inhaling that initial pull. Just don't expect to be doing much else other than couch sitting for a long while.
