Chapter 2
The first day of work for the company I had to scan in to the time clock which could not be done any sooner than 5 minutes prior to my scheduled time. Then there is finding a clear computer and setting up the station for business by putting the tape into the tape deck and booting up the computer. Once this part is done it is the briefing on what we are selling and the numbers that we need to hit that day. Then the “fun” begins.

How Having Student Loans Has Changed My Life
When I was younger, I never imagined I'd have to worry about debt. I never pictured being consumed with thoughts of an ever-present "monkey on my back," so to speak. This monkey called student debt has haunted me ever since I signed on the dotted line and accrued $30,000+ in debt for my college education. Honestly, as a doe-eyed 20-year-old who had just barely graduated from community college with my Associate's degree, signing up for a bit of debt did not seem like that big of a deal. There would still be so much time left before I would have to start paying it back, and besides, I'd have some type of fancy career by then anyway, right? Or maybe...not.

Why I Want an Education
We all go through life differently in terms of how we're brought up. Some of us had parents who were very supportive and wouldn't stop at anything for their offspring to succeed or be happy. Some had very demanding parents, who had children who wanted to have a career in something that their parents were not comfortable with them doing; those types of parents who want their children to have rewarding careers. If you were unlucky, you got parents who wouldn't believe you could do anything.Growing up as a kid, I would always change what I wanted to do when I grew up; one day, it would have been an astronaut, to a cowgirl, to a princess, to a scientist, to a vet. To this day, I'm twenty-three years old, and I still don't know what I want out of a career. I know what I enjoy doing, but because of growing up with a lot of doubt around me, whatever I decide to do with my life sounds crazy when I say it out loud.Let me tell you, my journal through school: it's known to be the best time of your life, and yes, I do have my moments where I miss it, however, going through those thirteen years were very difficult.

Discovering My Love for Writing

If you're reading this, you're probably still thinking about... what's something you love to do, something you're passionate about. The thought process of something like this is often slow and it takes a while to grab a whole of it. We're always told "do what you love..." but, what about the people that do negative things on the daily and think that's something their passionate about? Would you still say that to them? Failing My A-Levels
From the perspective of a 17-year-old student I always thought I was a smart girl. Maybe not the brightest, but smart to an extent. I was always put in higher sets for subjects and got good grades throughout my academic life. But once I failed my A-Levels, I have felt stupid and honestly quite thick.
