Writing the Right Way
We are exposed to words and letters every day. Even if you never leave your home you still come in contact with some form of writing. When you take a shower, there is writing on your shampoo, body wash, conditioner, etc. If you walk into the kitchen. Oh...that's a landmine of words, sentences, phrases, and slogans! If this is a skill that we come in contact with every day (and use more now than ever with email and text messaging), why can nobody do it correctly?

Maximizing Your Potential
I can vividly recall this past Thanksgiving involving a fork full of cheesy macaroni, and an unsettling scene from the film: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. In the beginning, we meet the young chocolate lover Charlie, and his father; a factory worker who caps toothpaste tubes. One day the company invests in a more efficient machine to cap the tubes, eliminating his job.

College Students, Social Media, and What They Don’t Know
Living in the twenty-first century, technology is heavily used and depended on daily for basic needs, especially in college. While college students use this advanced technology for justified purposes such as to write papers, keep up with online work, and keep contact through email with their professors, there is damage that is created when we begin to talk about social media. College students have used social media for positive purposes such as keeping family updated about their progress or having a pen pal far across the globe to learn about a different culture, but glamorization of binge drinking alcohol is not one of them, yet it is so popular.

Students with Trauma
The canvas pictured above is actually something I created for my classroom this year to utilize when teaching my students about the growth mindset vs. the fixed mindset. I never realized how much I'd turn to this and have to remind myself the importance.

Coolest Lap Desks To Help You Work Anywhere
Laptops come with a great ease of use, and with a good laptop you can work virtually anywhere—in bed, on the couch, out on the porch, etc. However, hunching over a table or placing the computer on your lap can be uncomfortable, and if you want to upgrade and get the most out of every work situation, you should look into the best lap desks.

Tips for Surviving High School
(Warning: These tips are based on MY opinion of high school survival.) Now everyone has probably told you, or students like you, "Just have fun!" Now I have a perfect statement for that sentence. NO. High School isn't all about having fun. It's usually about either drugs, popularity, the opposite sex, and self-identity. See how I didn't include grades? There's a special place in hell for grades. I have recently graduated high school last year, was it the "best four years" of my life? Hell no, I hated it. Some moments I had wished to have death's sweet kiss take me away, however growing up I learned that I'm happy death spared me.
