A Love Affair with Communications
Nearly ten years ago, I walked across the stage after being handed by diploma in Public Relations. Recently, I was back at my alma mater to talk to students in that same program about media relations and advocacy. Being back on campus, in the same room where I spent almost every day for two years, had me thinking about my career more generally and, despite the frustrations we all face in our jobs from time to time, made me realize that I truly enjoy what I do.

23 & As Lost As Can Be...
Working hard is not the problem. Hell, working hard is all I’ve ever known. I grew up incredibly poor. My mother worked full time. My father was not able to work due to a disability, resulting in a low monthly stipend from the government. Needless to say, I’ve always known that working hard was something that would always exist in my life.

The Best Teachers Have Real World Experience (Opinion)
I have the utmost respect for all those people who teach, have taught and will teach; whatever route they take to do so. It’s not an easy profession and definitely not a leave it at the door kind of job. During the time that I taught in secondary schools, I noticed differences between those teachers who had spent all their lives in education and those who had come into teaching later in life after having had another career. The points I mention below are not indicative of every teacher who never left education. Of course they aren’t. But they are the things that I observed that made me believe that the best teachers had been out in the real world and gained some experience before coming back to share their knowledge.

Week One #NaNoWriMo2018
I started this year's NaNoWriMo with goal setting. This generally helps me to be successful at my goals. However—and I knew this going in—even with goal setting, it takes a great deal of commitment to obtain any goal. So, I'm sure you're already wondering if I am setting up an excuse. Ethics
In my field of study there are many ethical dilemmas that could happen. One of the biggest dilemmas I may encounter over my time of business is finding the best product but trying to keep the price down. There are many products I will need in my field of career. Being able to keep the price of product down will save me and the customers money. When looking into these products I may be tempted to look towards other countries to help make the products and keep the price down. When we do this, there is a chance that these businesses overseas are not treating the employees right, not giving them a fair pay rate, or giving them a horrible work condition, they work in.
