Dodging the Ball
Sometimes there were fights at school, like the time when I was eight and had gotten into a fight with Cynthia Thomas. She had my cheek caught between her teeth, biting down hard. Fortunately, I knew better than to pull away. Meanwhile, as she was biting me, I was pinching her cheek as hard as I could. When I got home, Mama told me to go to the barn and find some chicken feces to rub on my face to prevent scarring and infection. So I had to go around the house with a bruised cheek and smelling like chicken poop for the rest of the day.

Smaller Isn't Always Easier
I've been producing short films on and off since 2005, and coming off the back of my first feature film and going back to a short (albeit one of half-hour length, so not your typical short film project) I can say that just because a project is small in size, doesn't necessarily make it easy going. There's a misconception that features are more difficult, and more worthy of your time, but short films come with their own challenges, that if met head-on, can be really rewarding.

Top 3 PTC Sites in 2019
If you do not have your own blog, I absolutely encourage you to make one because a blog is something that can be very helpful to others and that's why I do my best when I write. I like to provide the best for my readers who like my work and I also like to provide the best because it's benefiting others and it's getting me a name online, which is good. It also makes me some money, which I know you are interested in so let's get started!

The What, Why, and How of Franchising in Australia
Many people nowadays want to be entrepreneurs, and with good reason. You are your own boss, you have your freedom, and, let's be honest here, your earning potential skyrockets. Furthermore, with the advent of technology, the interconnectedness supplied to us by the internet, and just the benefits of the modern age, becoming your own business owner is easier than ever. However, easier is a relative term.

View from the Dog House (Pt. 3)
She who thinks she should be obeyed at all times is a great fan of audio books and used to work in radio, apparently, so knows a thing or two about recording. When she gives her talks promoting her books and her writing, people say they really enjoy hearing her reading the extracts, so producing audio books was something she was keen to do.

I Write Cuz I Want to Damnit
I have always wanted to start a blog. Always. Ever since I was a wee child, I imagined sitting down and putting my thoughts to paper (or in this case, computer) and sharing them with the world. I always had new ideas for a blog. A blog about animals. A blog about book reviews. Video blogging. Maybe a blog about health. My interests were ever changing, which made it difficult to narrow in on a single topic.
