The Dinner Party
They were all quietly sitting, waiting for dinner to begin. It was a special night for their host; her daughter’s birthday was coming and she finally agreed to come home after seven long years away. It was a night to be celebrated, if that wasn’t clear already. There were long candles decorating the middle of the table; in their intricate golden casings, they burned on into the night. A feast had been prepared, laid out in front of the guests; a glistening turkey; white, milky soup garnished with black seasoning; any vegetable or fruit one can think of laid there, waiting to be eaten. For dessert, a cheesecake; it was sitting next to the daughter’s empty chair. It was her favorite, as they had all heard at least a dozen or so times.

Something Else
When I; some way some day, became and become; in a state of pure, and uttermost bliss, it doesn't last? I'd guess that'll be right, whereas I would proceed forth into our vast universe's magnetic field. From within my body's, mind's soul. Wonderous, bright, powerful love - vibrations of positivity. Looking forward to finding an elusion. The way to the path. To elude the fate. The right of way; me being me. On this day, I can be free, free to love, to feel; if only able to achieve what’s been so close.

'Halloween 3': Who Needs Michael Myers?
Hello, and welcome back to Second Chances where I talk about things that deserve another shot. There are few horror movies that have been more influential than John Carpenter's 1978 classic Halloween. The story of babysitters terrorized by the psychopathic Michael Myers on Halloween night became the template for almost all the slasher flicks that came out afterward. It was also a massive success, taking in $70 million worldwide on a budget of only $300k. Naturally, sequels were wanted by the studio, but Carpenter and his co-producer Debra Hill didn't want to rehash the Michael Myers story over and over. So they struck a deal with the studio. The second would continue from the original's cliffhanger, and the follow-ups would present new stories. That deal gave us Halloween 3: Season of the Witch.
